2015 Monthly Goals Linky {February}

2015 monthly goalsCan you believe that we are already in February? A mere 6 weeks ago we were celebrating Christmas and then NY and now we almost done with the first week of February 2015. I do not know where time is flying too but it’s good to know it is not because I am wishing it away but because I am enjoying the life God has graciously given me. This month I wanted to start this post by naming and thanking all those that linked up their posts to my new 2015 Monthly Goals Linky, thank you so much I enjoyed each and every single post and was happy to share them on my social media accounts. For those who wish to link-up you’re welcome to do so.

The deets of this linky are simple, following host (on social media of your choice) is optional but may change as time goes on and you’re welcome to link up a maximum of two goal(s) posts.

Thanks again for all those who linked up, please go have a read of these posts you never know your next inspiration could come from there.

Now that I have shared these amazing goals that were linked up last month I want to share my February goals, but first things first for my January goals I set

  • Naturalisation, so I have decided to give up my Zambian citizenship to become British. Zambia does not do duo citizenship hence the need to surrender my Zambian-ness, and to do that need to apply and pay a whopping £904. February will be a no spend month because of this. SUCCESS, I sent out the application and awaiting for them to debit my account so I know they got it.

Now for February, I shared one of the major goals for February last month and now listed below are some of the minor goals.

  • Read 4 books – So far in 2015 I have only managed to read 2 books which is very unlike me since I read between 3-5 books a month (these range from Children’s books to Romantic novels) So this month I am aiming to do better. Thank you to the author’s who’ve reached out so far.
  • Blog series – On The Myrabev Life I started the Blog DIY series where I have been sharing some tutorials both code and non-code related. This has been fun but not sure if I will be sharing in February so need another blog series, any suggestions are welcome.
  • Monday Series – On this blog I have 2 Monday series (Manicure & Fashion) that I share regularly but lately the Manicure Monday series is suffering as I have not had the chance yet since entering 2015 to sit down and do my nails. Fashion Monday is doing well which I am thankful for as I seriously have no fashion sense.
  • Posting Schedule – I USED to have an amazing posting schedule which worked wonders with my insomnia, now my insomnia is getting worse and unpredictable so this has thrown me a bit of my game so I want to reclaim my mojo back this month.

These are my goals for February, what do you have planned for this month of Love? Have you accomplished the goals you set for January? For resolution makers, how is that going for you so far?

Time is flying by! I had one goal for January and have failed miserably! I think I’m going to use that goal again in February and see if I can actually get it accomplished.

Great goals for this month. I intend to read more books this month and execute many of my actionable for the month. Sometimes we get so into planning that we fail to execute.

I think of all kinds of things that I would like and need to change. I take it a day at a time. I hope you reach all of your goals.

  25. February 6, 2015 / 12:28 am

this is a really great idea. last year I started doing monthly reflections and quarterly goals. perhaps I should start doing monthly goals as well. for me reading one book a month would be a challenge… that is why I had to drop out of book group.

  26. February 5, 2015 / 11:52 pm

I think 3-5 books a month is still a really good number. Reading more is one of my goals this year too.

Best of luck meeting your goals. I have a huge calendar that I have on the side of my refrigerator. I wanted to get something big so that it couldn’t be missed as I have a tendency to really miss my goals.

  28. February 5, 2015 / 11:00 pm

January went by so fast. I feel like this year is going to fly by. You’ve got some really great goals and I wish you loads of success.

I haven’t really set any goals. I do however want to make sure I work out more than I am. Eating a little bit healthier would be nice as well.

I’m in for reading more books too. Oh, and I want to lose 30lbs in the next three weeks too 😉

  32. February 5, 2015 / 8:48 pm

I love seeing everyone’s goals! I’ve stopped setting as many for myself as I feel like I usually fell short when I did. I’m just trying to be intentional with my time and do as much as I can without pushing myself too hard

Blogging goals for me change daily. I would like to be more organized but I find myself caving into the daily opps and then moving things I should have written to the back burner. That is definitely a goal of mine. Putting things and writing things in order! Diane Sullivan

  34. February 5, 2015 / 7:55 pm

I feel like our blogging goals for February are in line with each other. I used to have a strict posting schedule that I always stuck to, but since the new year I’ve fallen into a funk! Here’s to us, getting back into the groove and being the awesome lady bloggers that we are 😉

If you never write down your goals you will never reach them. I think it is awesome that you are doing this. It helps us help you to reach your goal.

  39. February 5, 2015 / 5:08 pm

I don’t ever do resolutions because I know they just don’t seem to work. I chose a word instead this year and that word was “improve”. I’m trying to improve a little in a whole bunch of areas.

I don’t ever make resolutions. I just have overall goals that I work towards everyday. For some reason, when I make a resolution, I’m guaranteed to NOT follow through.

That is a big step you have taken-giving up one citizenship for another. I actually do not make resolutions by the day, month or year so have nothing to contribute on that score. I tend to just try to be the best I can be every second of every day–do I succeed? Mostly I guess–but then none of us are perfect.
