Whenever I visit Seoul, which I do yearly sometimes twice yearly, I always eat Korean BBQ, its the best. I rarely venture to try out other dishes other than the ones I am very familiar with. This time I wanted to try something more western, something more familiar.
Que 667 Dining Pub, looking at the menu it was definitely something I would eat at home. 667 Dining Pub is unique in that you can bring your own ingredients and they cook for you. At a small fee of 10,000won per dish using your own ingredients
667 Dining Pub – What we ate
Looking at the menu, we knew exactly what we wanted to try out, Tapas, mains and pasta. It has been a while since I last had tapas, last May 2018 to be exact. 667 Dining Pub has a simple but filling and creative menu to satisfy even the pickiest eaters.
To start off our girl’s dinner date, we chose ‘Homemade smoked beetroot salmon, mixed with salad, cucumber, radish and wasabi’. This was the best tapas I have ever had, the radish and wasabi are a definite Korea staple. What we loved was these ingredients weren’t overpowering and the salmon melted into the mouth.
For the mains, I chose the ‘Braised lamb shoulder, made in beer served with carrots, celery and mashed potatoes’. What can I say, the lamb shoulder was tender, the mash very creamy and the veggies we soft to chew. The other dish we tried was the Linguine Vongole, it has been a while since I last had linguine. The pasta was well cooked served with the cockles made for a very delicious pasta dish.
Our Final Thoughts
Before deciding to have our dinner at 667 Dining Pub, we had asked the closing time. We were advised they opened at 4 pm and closed at 2 am 7 days a week. If there were any closures, guests would be informed via their
We loved the uniqueness of 667 Dining Pub in South Korea, the friendly staff and delicious food. The restaurant only opened in August 2018 and specialise in serving dinners. Every month they have a change in menu and only serve seasonal ingredients, not artificials are used.
The decor is impressive, the soft lighting and soft furnishings make it ideal for date nights. The staff speak Korean, English and Chinese and are always on hand to help the guests.
