Traveling during winter has always been a bit of a hit and miss for many people. To date I have been fortunate to have had fairly good experience traveling during winter and hope that doesn’t change. There are so many winter travel tips out there but most focus on your clothing than the journey. In a couple of weeks time I will be off to Rome then off to Frankfurt before winter sets in. Then during winter I have two more trips Prague {January 2018} and Pisa {February 2018}. All of these upcoming trips have prompted me to put together winter travel tips that you should consider. Clothing When it comes to dressing for winter, I take no prisoners and always aim for warmth. But with that comes extra baggage but consider fleece clothing and wear the winter coat than packing. I have cold feet by nature so I am… View Post

BUCKETLIST IN REVIEW ~ TRAVEL EDIT Four Two years ago I put together a bucketlist of 15 places I wanted to visit and 15 things I wanted to do. This added up to 30 items on my list for before I turned 30 but then I changed it up. I decided to visit 30 countries before thirty which I completed before July 7, the day of my 30th birthday. Recently I realised after completing my 30 countries before thirty I kind of forgot about this bucketlist. Though not completely because it is part of my 17 places to visit in 2017 but still I had. Today I thought I give you an update on this bucketlist and shared travel edit four and next it will be life edit. TRAVEL EDIT Four: Where I have been!!  Over 6 months ago I had done 7 countries off my list and I had… View Post

Visiting 17 places in 2017 was a travel bucketlist I put together at the beginning of the year. Though life can be complicated and we’re never sure if we will be able to accomplish set goals, that shouldn’t stop us from trying. Regular readers know how much I love to travel, just thinking about it gets me excited and rearing to go. I love nothing more than jetting off but I have realised Home has a lot to offer. I live in one of the most amazing countries on the planet which every day someone fights to get in. It has been my intention that for the remainder of the 2017 I focus on Home bound travelling. I wont completely give up on flying off abroad but I will be minimizing my visit to the airport. 2017 Travel Bucketlist {Visit 17 places in 2017} Travels Thus Far  As it’s been… View Post

When sharing the news of completing the 30 Before Thirty I mentioned I might re-do #Take12Trips travel challenge. But then I thought nah, I can do that anytime I please. I needed something exciting to do, I needed travel inspiration, queue up the Travel Name Game. So what is the Travel Name Game?  Well I am glad you asked, ok I know you did… View Post

Yes!! You read it correctly, I completed the 30 countries Before 30 travel challenge I started back in 2015. At first I felt like I was setting myself up for failure as I wasn’t traveling much back then. Then 2016 came and I managed to travel to at least once a month to complete my #take12trips travel challenge. I must admit the feeling of accomplishing such important travel goals in my life is incomparable to anything so far.  The quote, everything you want is on the other side of fear has never been more truer than it has been in the last 2 years. I stepped out of my comfort zone, tested the waters and explored the world with new resilience. Don’t get me wrong, I was pretty scared shitless sometimes but I never gave up on my goal. Everyone will always tell you what you should be doing at… View Post
