Last year, I signed up to fuelmyblog product review program. Monthly I get sent e-mails with prospective opportunities to review products and last month I was fortunate enough to be given the chance to receive and review Aloe Vera drinks from TAJ. TAJ describes itself as “the UK and Europe’s leading Ethnic Food Brand within the Branded FMCG Food Market (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) established for over 30 years. TAJ Foods was one of the first to start branded FMCG Ethnic Food in the UK and Europe; and we have very established clientele such as Supermarkets, Cash & Carries & Independent Retailers”.
For this review I received two 500ml bottles of original flavour and strawberry flavour. Below I have listed what the drinks contains and what the company claims it can do for you.
The Aloe vera drinks are made from:
- 30% aloe vera juice and 16% pulp,
- they are low in sugar,
- aids detox,
- boosts immunity and
- are energizing
Packaging & Product information
The bottles are made from hard plastic and even once opened they do not spill when carrying inside the bag (tried and tested), the lids are very firm. The product information lists everything contained in each bottle, for all nutritional particular peeps out there you are covered as each gram/mm/% is listed and please note there is a safety warning (**Product is not suitable if pregnant or lactating and for children under 3 years of age**) and the company have stated this product was not FDA approved for any indication.
Taste
For someone like me who does not really like water this is really a great alternative, I am usually not a fun of drinks which contain “bits” but I loved the bits in each drink. The taste and flavour of these drinks is just amazing, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking to try out new juices.
Review: This product gets a thumbs up from me, I have already bought a couple more bottles of the aloe vera drinks and I can not wait to try out other flavours. The products do as it says on the tin, I can not prove the immunity part but I did feel energised every time i drunk the juice i think it is one of the reasons why I bought more as for me the energised and low sugar are important for me.
