Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Guest Post} Things to Ask a Video Production Company before Hiring Them

video production

Choosing the right video production company is a vital part of getting the right results from a corporate video. Usually, there will be a number of video production companies out there and finding the right one will require you to do your homework. There are a number of things that a business owner will have to find out about a production company before they hire them. Taking the time to get all of the information needed will help the business owner to get the right company chosen. The following are some of the questions that a business owner has to ask in order to find an amazing video agency.

What Is Their Previous Work Like?

One of the first things to ask when trying to find the right video production company is what their previous work is like. Most of the companies that you will encounter will have a demo reel that will let you see how well they have done for others in the past. By taking the time to view a few of the demo reels, you will be able to choose the right company for the job.

When Can The Process Start?

The next thing to find out about a video production company is when they will be able to start the process. For most business owners, finding a company that is able to get started right away is a top priority. Calling around to each of the companies in the area will allow the business owner to get a good idea on what each of them can do. The time that it takes to do this type of research will be worth it considering the benefits that it could bring. Make sure to get an idea of how long the company thinks that this process will take before settling on just one.

How Much Will The Video Cost?

Choosing the right company will also require the business owner to weigh the financial aspect of the production. Most business owners are on a strict budget and will have to keep their spending in check in order to make ends meet. Getting a few different quotes on the video you need will help you to narrow down the selection of companies. Each of the companies should be able to offer you the quotes you need to make the right decision.

Choosing the team at b-mc will help to ensure that the corporate video is made the right way and in a hurry. You can reach them by phone or go to their website for more information.

Good advice for interviewing any company, not just video production. You’d want to see their past work, schedule and cost!

Interesting post, I’ve never hired a video production crew, I hate the sound of my own voice on camera so we didn’t even bother with one for our wedding!
