Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. Lifestyle – Tips to renew your bathroom

This is a collaborative post with Click Basin, I have implored the talents of my sister-in-law to help me write this post.

tips to renew your bathroomSo it’s time to renew your bathroom… but where do you begin?! First things first, decide the style you want. Is it a natural theme with bamboo and plants, is it a slick and ultra-modern style or a traditional style that you’re after. Once you have decided let the hours of searching for the right toilets, basins, baths and accessories begin! My current bathroom is only small and I need to fit a bath in it as I have a 3-year-old so a shower is not an option. So instead of compromising on this I looked into space-saving ideas.

The bologna counter mounted white modern bathroom sink is a very tranquil looking bathroom sink similar to the ones spotted in posh spas. It is small so you could fit into a small downstairs toilet or in your main bathroom if it is small like mine giving you everything you need to make the room seem bigger and best part it isn’t taking up a lot of space. There are so many choices pondered over a couple of bathroom basins before deciding this was the style for me. I also considered a bamboo inspired bathroom with exposed wood and plants, a real natural feel so when I saw the cube solid oak narrow bathroom vanity with a square glass sink it became a strong contender.

So now that I have found my sink it’s onto the toilet. The one I would go for is the heritage Blenheim low-level WC with chrome flush from Victorian plumbing. It looks very elegant and ties in with the posh spa theme I have going on. So now for a bath that ties in with my theme at a reasonable price. The Verona freestanding modern bath also from Victorian Plumbing is the one I would go for. It is very similar to the sink so it goes well with the theme and looks so luxurious.

Now to accessorize, my job was made easy for me by the amount of choice on Clickbasin. I found the solid oak wall mounted mirror cabinet with side shelves which again adds a touch of class and is also useful to hide away those feminine products whilst showing off your posh body washes you got for Christmas. I would also add the 3 tier box solid oak bathroom storage stand caddy to again have some more space to store things I need like hand towels whilst still having the spa like feel. And last but certainly not least I found the Note 6 piece value chrome bathroom accessories set for just £24.99! It’s a bargain and it includes all of these; a robe hook, toothbrush holder & glass, toilet roll holder, towel holder & rail and a soap dish. This last touch is practical yet ties in the chrome from the toilet flush and the tap.

All of these together create a sleek and elegant look and it all ties in with each other. You don’t want lots of random things so try gathering all the things you have shortlisted and see how they would look rather than just buying randomly or you will end up with a mismatch bathroom.
