Fall work outfit ideas is a post based on items I have recently purchased and been creating looks for.
I can’t believe today is the last Monday of the month, even though I have been away for two weeks. When you’re away on holiday, all of a sudden the month starts to move really quickly. I felt like just last Friday I was preparing for my holiday to Johannesburg and now I am already back. Time sure does fly fast when you’re having fun and fun I certainly had in South Africa.
Whilst in Johannesburg, I did make a number of purchases which led me to create these outfit ideas. Regular readers know how much I love putting outfits together even though fall is not my favourite season. I am one person who absolutely hates layering but has to because I would freeze to death otherwise. When I was thinking of how I would dress my new colourful trousers for work, I thought I share some of my fall work outfit ideas.
Fall Work Outfit Ideas
As mentioned, I made a couple of purchases whilst I was holidaying in South Africa and couldn’t wait to show them off at work. The first pair of trousers I bought was the pink trouser from the unknown brand but regardless I loved how it looked when paired with a loose blue top. Since fall season is upon us I figured for work I would add ankle boots, a warm MAC coat and minimal accessories.
For the second outfit, it’s another light pink trouser which I felt paired with a simple long-sleeved shirt with strips would do the trick. As much as I love keeping my outfits simple, pairing this outfit is light pink heels were what came to mind and I love it.
The third outfit is totally out of my comfort zone, I hardly have this colour in my wardrobe. I do love yellow like the next person but hardly wear it. My auntie on the other had loves yellow and it was nice to see how she pairs it. I took inspiration and added a yellow pair of trousers. The long-sleeved blouse screamed to be paired with the yellow trouser outfit. I choose to be even bolder and added a pair of yellow heels and I think it works.
Though fall is so not my season, I have had fun creating these fall work outfit ideas. So far I have worn the first out twice, entering October I will be daring the yellow outfit.
