Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Fashion Monday} Sparkle into September

Sparkle into September is my theme for today. I was fortunate enough to be contacted by House of Frazer PR to collaborate with them. The collaboration was mainly focused on maxi dresses and I chose this stunning Silver Sparkle dress. I was hoping to wear it to a wedding but I missed delivery. So now I am just looking for another special event to wear it to and show it off.

Missing the special event didn’t stop me coming up with an idea of how I would have worn it. As most of you know, I love nothing more than putting outfits together and this outfit is no exception. Though I do not spend hours upon hours deciding what outfits to create, I do love a good challenge for myself.

Every time when I get an opportunity to collaborate with House of Fraser I am always honoured as they have some amazing items to cater to all. Deciding on which dress to choose from their maxi range was no easy feast, all are lovely dresses.

Sparkle into September

Ideas where flowing of how to dress this Biba glitter Metallic Column Maxi Dress but I decide simple is best. I am someone who doesn’t like to complicate outfits when a simple but elegant outfit would do. This maxi dress has a slit on the right side, making it a sexy maxi. I felt pairing this dress with a black sandal would add more to its sexy appear. I wanted to continue with the simple and glitter trend so I felt adding the huge bracelet and simple silver watch would be good. Though who know me know who much I love having something black with my colourful outfits. So it should come as no surprise that I am I chose to add black studded earrings to this outfit. Though I am tooting my own horn, I feel as though this outfit would look nice on anyone.
What do you think of my sparkle into september outfit idea? Do you ever buy clothes from House of Fraser? What has been your experience?
Disclosure: I was sent the dress from review purposes no monetary gifts were exchanged, regardless all opinions are my own.
