Summer is here, the weather outside is amazing, which is a shocker for British weather. But we are not complaining, as I am busy basking in the warmth coming through my home. With summer comes the need to wear less and pack the woolies. Though I haven’t really done any shopping, I am happy to share my Favourite Summer Fashion Additions.
Last week I shared on my instagram stories the mess that was my bedroom as I did a clear out. I am happy to report, I have packed 4 bags of clothes to give away to family and charity. Every 6 weeks I declutter my home but mostly my closet to give away what I don’t wear. After I declutter, a often do a small shopping to replace the essentials. Here are some of the Favourite Summer Fashion Additions to my closet.
Favourite Summer Fashion Additions
Looking through my closet even before I planned to declutter, I already knew what I needed. With a trip to Seoul that was fast approaching, I decided to pick up a couple summer suitable items. For me these include; shorts, sleeveless tops, sunglasses, kimono and lingerie. I did not need to purchase new sunglasses as I have plenty of those, here is what I bought.
Cotton shorts and sleeveless tops – H&M
If there is one outfit I love wearing during the summer its a pair of shorts and sleeveless top. I feel it is a classic outfit, nothing to it but can be dressed up or down. If I am running errands I often pair the outfit with either trainers or flip-flops. But if its for a date or catchup with friends, I like pair with wedges or sandals. During the evenings when the weather is much cooler, I like to add a kimono or leather jacket.
Lingerie from UK Lingerie
As a blogger I am very fortunate to be able to collaborate with a mired number of brands and companies. Recently UK Lingerie sent me a lovely set in yellow which is a colour I am not good with. But of late I have been adding more bright colours to my wardrobe. If you watched any of my instagram stories, you will know I am loving this set. The bra (size 36E non-padding) and knickers (size 12) fit perfectly, the design is so sleek too.
Kimono from New Look
Another one of my Favourite Summer Fashion Additions is a kimono I picked up from New Look. I have always loved kimonos as they are easy to style and can be dressed up or down. I often pair them with skinny jeans and a nice Tee or shorts finishing off with wedges. Its always a good look for a nice dinner date or to run errands and being stylish on the go.
Whenever I have new Favourite Summer Fashion Additions they always become my go-to items. I can tell you the kimono and the bra set are my new go-to items which I am really like. What are some of your new Favourite Summer Fashion Additions? Made any purchases for your closet of late?

My summer fashion typically includes SHORT SHORTS and a T SHIRT because I HATE BEING HOT. I would rather be comfortable than cute any day LOL!!!
