Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

May Beauty Essentials

Beaty essentials all

Though I say this every single month but I can not believe this is the last week of May 2014 I mean where is the time going? I was having a chat over the weekend with  friend and he mentioned to me something that has been at the back on of mind but never really wanted to acknowledge – I am getting old lol ok I am only 26 soon 27 but it feels like only yesterday when I was 21 and world had all these possibilities. Anyway that’s a story for another day, today I am coming to share with you my May BEAUTY essentials which if you are a regular here are already familiar with because two came from my #LoveMeBeauty boxes for April and May months. Other items I have been using for a long time now and want to share with you all.

beauty essential 1

Betty-Hula wonder oil has been a God sent product, it does what it says on the tin plus more. I have a little problem area on my chest during summer times and this product has kinda took care of that problem for me so I am singing all the praises till kingdom come.

Fabulous Foot Balm – well slap we silly and count to 10, I am loving this little trial size balm. I apply every night after shower and before bed and I have seen its effects in the last 2 weeks and I am amazed. I do love looking after my feet especially with summer on its way I want to be showing off my “crack-free” feet.

beauty essential 2

ELF Foundation – This foundation I borrowed stole from my sister, I tried it on a couple weeks back and the result was outstanding (for me).  So I did what I did for my skin and been using it since, it just compliments my skin so well and I am looking forward to purchasing more.

CC Cream – This colour corrector cream I got form ALDI food store, never heard of them brand before but I looked the look of the product so took it on a whim. Well I am glad I did because its a “wonder” product on its won. I use it under my foundation and its  beauty cant recommend this product more.

Olive oil – spray oil – another product spoon from my sister, I have a lot of olive oil products and they do not disappoint. This spray I am using it for my skull to stay moisturized and on my natural hair for an extra shine.

That’s all folks, my May Beauty Essentials Items. Don’t forget the #FreebieFriday #Giveaway is still ongoing until Friday 30th May 2014, the next Freebie Friday is scheduled for the 6th June 2014.
