Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Hi there and welcome to my Manicure Monday with a twist, as you can see today I am sharing the nail polishes am loving not what I am wearing. A couple of bloggers have inspired me to trot down some nail polishes that I should either try out or continue to use like NYX. The nail polishes am sharing today are those that I am happy to wear myself (or already have) and have done some research on.

Sinful Colors – Professional Nail Polish Enamel 322 Let Me Go

Sinful Colors - Professional Nail Polish Enamel 322 Let Me Go

For my UK readers, these nail polishes are being sold for  £1.99 over on their website and they have a great selection. Its colour porn on that website I can not even choose but I like this “Let me go” shade.

Sinful Colors – Professional Nail Polish Enamel 322 Let Me Go – $7.20, Free shipping – Available at Amazon.com Marketplace

Sinful Colors – Professional Nail Polish Enamel 858 You Just Wait

Sinful Colors - Professional Nail Polish Enamel 858 You Just Wait

I also love this “Just wait” shade, ain’t the names just the cutest things ever? I love this colour and the one above because they are not too “in your face” kind of colours and in the office environment I work in I think they are acceptable and not too distracting (for those of us who speak with our hands).

Sinful Colors – Professional Nail Polish Enamel 858 You Just Wait – $7.38, Free shipping – Available at Amazon.com Marketplace

Essie – Nail Enamel Naturals & Nudes

Essie - Nail Enamel Naturals & Nudes

For my UK readers you can find these in boots for £7.99 in all sorts of colours and boots shows the Essie store locators. Don’t miss out, I am in love.

Essie – Nail Enamel Naturals & Nudes – $8.49, 5.05 shipping – Available at Target.com

China Glaze – GLAZE Nail Lacquer – Sunsational – Sun Of A Peach

China Glaze - GLAZE Nail Lacquer - Sunsational - Sun Of A Peach

I have never heard or even used this brand before but the blogging world has been singing praises for far too long so I am ready to take the plunge. For my UK readers, Beautybay.com also sales these from £3 and up in all shades.

China Glaze – GLAZE Nail Lacquer – Sunsational – Sun Of A Peach – $6.99, Free shipping – Available at Amazon.com Marketplace

NYX – NYX ‘Love is in the Air’ Nail Polish Collection

NYX - NYX 'Love is in the Air' Nail Polish Collection

Y’all know I recently got introduced to this brand a couple months back and I seriously love NYX nail polish, I have been dipping in frequently the last couple of weeks hence why this Monday and last I was not able to share my mani monday posts because I have been rocking this brand.

NYX – NYX ‘Love is in the Air’ Nail Polish Collection – $22.44, Free shipping – Available at Amazon.com Marketplace

OPI – Nicole by OPI Nicloe Lacquer – Still into Pink Greens

OPI - Nicole by OPI Nicloe Lacquer - Still into Pink Greens

Every one knows and uses this brand except me (or maybe exaggerating a bit). I can count how many times I have worn an OPI nail polish (the days when I used to have nails done by professionals) and I was never disappointed but the price £11.50+ is too steep for me but I am willing to buy a colour that I can wear year round and this fits the bill.

OPI – Nicole by OPI Nicloe Lacquer – Still into Pink Greens – $9.83, Free shipping – Available at Amazon.com Marketplace
