Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Let’s talk health and Revel Sol Review

Yesterday on The Myrabev Life I shared with you my top 3 health habits which were cooking, walking and drinking water/sleeping. I also mentioned this article I read about ‘Health is not just for January‘, as I mentioned in my post What caught my attention was the mention of being ‘office active‘ and what kind of problems you might suffer otherwise ‘list not exhaustive’. I work in an office and I always try to spend 5 minutes every hour looking away from my computer screen, I will admit there are times when I forget because I am so caught up in whatever I am doing but is ok once in a while not constantly cause this could lead to eye problems, I know someone who is suffering with this ‘looking at computer causes this person’s eyes to go red and become painful’.But when we talk and think about our health are we only limited to the physical sense of it or do we think about our health in terms of our mentality, our emotional state and our sexual health? I believe it is important to think about all ‘Four states’ of health-ness. The World Health Organisation defines health as:

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

healthy habitsSo if health is not merely an absence of disease or infirmity how healthy are you? Let’s break down the ‘Four states’ of being healthy.

Physical health – being disabled or not does not define how healthy someone is, ok there instances when one can not do certain things but that does not mean they are not healthy. How physically healthy are you?

Mental health – we have all being hearing in the news about mental health and how its affecting the world in the worst of ways because well simply no one is talking about it unless something gruesome happens like the killing of that innocent soldier in Canada or the pointless shootings in some American schools. We as the world and as future generations need to be able to speak about our mental health and if someone has a mental illness we need to encourage them to talk as well as seek help not judge them.

Emotional health – I do not know what its like to have an anxiety disorder or even a panic attack so I can not really speak to this but one thing I do know is we need to be open and be there for those who do. Emotional health can be described and talked about in so many ways but we need to assess ourselves first.

Sexual health – ok ladies and gents you don’t have to jump out of your seats, sexual health is very important for both male and females. Couples need to be able to talk about their sexual health freely with their partners without feeling like there are being judged or looked down upon. As much as I would love to give you all a lovely lecture on this topic I wanted to share with you my little new joy that am sure will be keep me sexually happy for a while to come but just not yet. I was sent the Revel SOL sonic vibrator and as of yet I have used it to massage my back and my neck, I sit a lot at work and at home (right now typing up this post) and most of the time my back really acts up. When I was sent this little superman I actually had a good chuckle to myself (will not share much more than this), looking at the shape of it and the main purpose (not the only one) of it did give me some giggles.

I will give you a quick review;

Packaging – The sonic vibrator comes neatly packed in two very cute boxes, I must say I loved the discreetness of the packaging because you see I have parcels delivered to work as I spend more time there than home. It comes with a USB type of charger and 3 interchangeable caps which I think are very handy.

Sonic Vibrator – lightweight and soft to touch, I love the colour combination (grey and orange) made it quite an item you can even decorate your dressing table with it unless already known no one would guess what it is. I love that it comes with a charging stand which is so stylish. When charging their is a big light in front which I have been using as a discrete kind of lamp and when using the sonic vibrator the light is on too. I used on my neck whilst having a bath and not yet electrocuted, I think that’s its best feature that its codeless and no electrocution involved.

The sonic vibrator can be used as a pleasuring instrument but for the moment I am using it as my little massaging toy for my back and neck. It has been a god sent, the sonic vibrations has helped with targeting the areas on my back and neck that are stiff (can only imagine in other areas) and I welcome that feeling anyday. The size of the Revel SOL sonic vibrator makes it an ideal travelling companion and best part it’s not noisy at all. You can learn more about and/or purchase this wonder product from their website

Being healthy is a personal choice, you only get one body treat it properly and care for it dearly. Only you know what healthy means to you and your body, there so many diseases in the world do not give them the upper hand work and fight for your body’s well being.

I received the Revel Sol sonic vibrator for purpose of giving an honest review and no other forms of compensation were given. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

When i think of healthy habits, I usually think of edible things….eating the types of food that help me stay healthy, fit, and energized. i totally agree…’health is not just for January’ – this is the first time in a long while that I actually started my ‘healthy plan’ for myself in the summertime…and I’m still going strong. Wish me luck for Thanksgiving time.
