• What dental implants could do to your self-esteem and smile

Do you find yourself feeling insecure about your smile due to gapped teeth? Suffering tooth decay can be detrimental to your self-esteem, affecting your everyday life? It’s no wonder the likes of Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman and Mike Tyson have all taken up dental implants.

They, despite being huge celebrities, have the same insecurities as the rest of us. So if you’ve always been dissatisfied with your teeth then maybe you too should take the plunge and get implants. Check out some of these successes.

Loosing teeth to an accident, tooth decay, age, or missing teeth used to require traditionally lengthy and expensive treatments like bridges or crowns (like on Mike Tyson’s before picture). Luckily that has changed today and dental implants can be a quick and simple solution.

Implants can be a really natural and transforming way of regaining the confidence of a fuller, healthier smile. The treatment is quick and relatively painless, with a quick recovery time too. So once you have the treatment you will be smiling in no time.

They are renowned for lasting well and being much more natural than, say, dentures. They are strong and capable of chewing on some of the hardest foods without the worry of discomfort or damage.

Whether you have individual or multiple gaps in your teeth, each implant is designed specifically to fit in with the rest of your smile. Keeping your implants clean can be really simple too; they just require that little extra care, including toothpastes and mouthwashes with no acid or baking soda content.

Flossing and dental check-ups are also important when maintaining your new teeth. So that in 10 years-time you will still be grinning from ear to ear showing off your full, pearly whites!

If you could see yourself investing in a new smile with some dental implants, then why not speak to the experts at Ollie & Darsh who have done this procedure a thousand times or more. They can offer an exceptional service that will truly leave you smiling from ear to ear.

Wow look at that picture of Tom Cruise! I think a lot of people underestimate how important their teeth are when they are younger and seriously regret it when they grow older!

      • July 10, 2016 / 7:38 am

So true, I was surprised by how the two actors used to look before and then after having the dental implants

    7. July 9, 2016 / 11:33 am

    9. July 8, 2016 / 10:45 pm

What a difference in those pictures! I’m petrified of the dentist but a great smile is really important so I go. But I hope I don’t need anything so drastic.

      • July 10, 2016 / 7:35 am

I hope I won’t need something as drastic as this but for those that need it, it’s important to know they have the option

I am extremely scarry of dentists, but also understand that I should visit dentist every time I have teeth issues

      • July 7, 2016 / 10:14 pm

I fear them too but visits shouldnt be restricted to when something is wrong only, they should be checked every six months

    18. July 7, 2016 / 11:24 am

I don’t like the gap in the front of my teeth, but would be too frightened to get these done just based on the pain alone. It is a fabulous way of dealing with something that people hate about themselves.

      • July 7, 2016 / 11:39 am

I can definitely understand the fear but it’s work working with your dentist and coming up with a suitable solution

    19. July 7, 2016 / 9:11 am

Thank heavens for good dentists and all they can do.

I can imagine they would definitely give some people a much needed confidence boost. I’m not sure that I’d get them unless I really needed them though.
