Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Fashion Monday} Autumn Sun

Autumn sun has been the only thing has been keeping me from being frozen to death. I am not a lover of cold or even cool weather, for me only summer does it right. I don’t mind these other seasons other than winter, because I still get a glimpse of summer now and again. Living in England, you would think I would be used to the cold but somehow I am not. I dress like an Eskimo during winter and struggle big time during Autumn. For me there is no in between, its easy I am dressed for summer or winter.

Autumn Sun

Putting together the Autumn Sun post, I had one goal in mind and that’s to keep it simple. As previously stated, 90% of the outfit ideas I share here are what has worked for me or what would. I wore this outfit during my recent brush with London commuters. One thing you’ve got to love about Brits is even with brollies (umbrella) we still have shades on the ready. Whilst taking a walk in London the sun came out, it was comical that almost everyone pulled out there sunglasses . I was happy to have my new sunglasses from a wholesale sunglasses distributor via cheapass glasses on the ready. Yes you read right, the name is CHEAPASS! I had to do a double take the first time round.

Review

Prior to being contacted by cheapass, I had not heard of the company before. I did have to do a little research (google) on the company before collaborating. I found the website easy to navigate and was able to quickly choose the glasses that I liked. The prices are really affordable, even though it isn’t the season for sunglasses it’s still good to purchase them now.

Like anyone who loves sunglasses, I always try to find simple yet stylish shades. Though sunshine isnt common in Autumn, we proudly walk with them in our bags just in case. The glasses arrived in a nice and small green box, I was surprised there was no padding inside. But then again the box was really sturdy and was small enough to fit through the mailbox. I had chosen the sunglasses called Squirrel due to the shape and colour of them, great choice. The sunglasses are really strong, shaped appropriately on the nose area and absolutely gorgeous. The sunglasses are UV-protected, they are stylish and look good on most outfits. I do wish there was more sun so I can wear them and showcase them.

And there you have it, my autumn sun outfit idea and review of the cheapass sunglasses. To my fellow Brits, are you also still walking around with sunglasses in your bag for the unexpected?
