Budapest itinerary #Blogger Recommendations

Budapest itinerary consists of all the places I am hoping to visit at the end of the month {February 2017}. I decided to consult people who have been to Budapest to share their knowledge with me. So with that in mind, here are the places I am thinking of checking out whilst in Budapest.

Budapest Itinerary #Blogger Recommendations.

If Jennifer can spend 4 hours in Budapest and see so many places, I am sure we can manage it in 2-days. Jennifer was able to check out some of the places I am hoping to see:

  • St Stephen’s Basilica| Shoes on the Danube Bank|

Kaleigh recommended her visit to the Gellert Thermal Baths which we will be sure to check out. Everyone knows about famous Thermal Baths in Budapest Szēchenyl and we are hoping to check them out for sure.

Shelley recommended a few places she checked out whilst visiting her friend last summer and they match our itinerary.

  • Chain Bridge| Thermal Baths| Castle of Budapest and has recommended The Vintage Garden for a slice of lunch.

Vicky shared her unfortunate experience with an accommodation she’s reserved online. After reading the article {Here} I decided to change my booking and pay a bit more for a good accommodation. Lucky the next day they had a lovely experience touring Budapest.

Digital Diva Ally shared 5 Things to do on Budapest city break and I must say I loved all her recommendations. I am definitely down for a guided tour and dinner cruise on the Danube River, I mean who wouldn’t. Check out her other posts on Budapest and you won’t regret it.

Courtney recently returned from her trip to Budapest where they managed to walk over 12 miles on the longest walk. She also shared her visit to Gellert Hill and Ice Skating in City Park.

Codie over at Codiekinz recommended a walking tour for anyone visiting Budapest and we intend on doing just that.

Daniella over at while I’m young shared her amazing 3-day itinerary which was jam-packed with amazing activities. I loved that she managed to check out the Ruin Bars which I have heard lots about and definitely want to check out.

Elizabeth went on a lovely girls weekend to Budapest and boy does she have amazing recommendations or what. She’s basically laid out all the best places to Eat and Drink in Budapest.

Amy over at Amy Rutter shared something I had not considered for checking out in Budapest and that’s a Market Hall. Though we’ve not decided yet how much time we will be allocating to each site in Budapest. We will figure it out whilst we are there but so excited definitely.

Emma at the Adventures of a London Kiwi had a long weekend in Budapest with her friends. Like Emma, I too am heading to Budapest with a friend and she will most likely be doing all the planning.

Eppie recently visited Budapest and does she have some awesome posts on her blog. Regular readers know for me when traveling it’s all about the Architecture and Eppie has shared the Must See.

I loved Emmalene’s Hankering for Hungary posts HERE and HERE, which you should definitely check out.

I’ve never been to Budapest before, but sounds fab. It’s great when you know of great ideas to check out. Will love to hear you review the recommendations because what some people love, others find dull. For example, when my mum visited dublin, a friend suggested a prison which she found boring and wanted to go to the guinness factory. Her friend hated that but think she may have actually enjoyed it! x

I’ve been to Budapest twice now and I would highly recommend going over to Margaret Island at 9pm I believe it is as each evening they have a light fountain show with music playing and it’s magical. Oh and go to Gelato Rosa for rose shaped ice creams (doesn’t matter about the weather) x
