Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Skinny Ankle Grazers

Skinny ankle grazers are the best skinny jeans one can have in their wardrobe, they are a staple in mine. I recently picked up a new pair in Reading from New Look after spending an afternoon wine tasting at Veeno. Obviously you want to hear more about our  Italian wine tasting experience at Veeno than my outfit. Fear not, all will be shared in good time on here but today let’s talk about this outfit.

If there is one constant outfit idea that is shared on this blog is ‘styling skinny jeans‘ for all occasions. I love skinny jeans and have way too many pairs but honestly I can never have enough. There is always something about wearing skinny jeans that just makes me happy. It could be the effortless way of styling them but still make them look amazing. Or it could be because they elongate my already long legs even more than usual. These skinny ankle grazers are by far the best ones I own, they are soft and made to fit.

I am someone who always shops with an outfit in mind, when I saw the jeans I knew what to pair with them. The lace mid length lace top I had seen earlier would go perfectly with my block heels. I then saw a faux fur gilet which I knew would just be perfect to compliment this outfit.

When it came to accessorizing,  I knew the lace detail on the top was enough. But I had picked up a love cross over bag from Primark that I knew would be perfect. The detail on the cross over bag was enough accessorizing this outfit needed.

What do you think of these skinny ankle grazers? How would you style them and where would you wear this outfit? I wore mine to church and also on a date, it is styling without trying too much.

I love them and that bag too! I only have a couple pair of skinny jeans. They would go with anything and I could see switching the shirt to make them look more casual.

What a stylish look for the new season! You can wear this outfit during the day AND in the evening as well. I also like that this look is layered as temperatures change throughout the day.

Love the jeans! It’s getting colder here in Michigan and I’m looking to buy some new stuff for my wardrobe. These sound like a nice idea, I think they should go well with a pair of loafers as well. Don’t like heels…
