Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum #giftguide

Christmas is just over a week away and I have been racking my brains for the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum. I believe I have found just the ticket to please almost all mums as we all know they deserve the world and more. Knowing most mothers are always focused on their families and not themselves, the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum has to be FOR MUM. All the items in this article are those that are not season but can be gifted all year round.

Like with every thing in life, you have to take inspirations from home or something closer to home. I looked at my incredible mum and thought what would be the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum? What would she appreciate more (apart from money) and would be useful to her in the long run? With all these questions, I came up with this list of the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum.

Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum

The Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum

I don’t know about your mum or wife but mine is always putting herself last so her family has everything. Now that I am older and more mature, I recognise my mum’s efforts as our unsung hero that she is. I wanted to make sure that she knows that she is loved, appreciated, admired and appreciated even more than she knows. And to show her this, I came up with a list of the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum.

Winter Coat

Mum has nice sweaters but rarely any good quality winter coats and am changing that. Thanks to GANT who has gifted us this gorgeous winter coat so my mum can stay warm and toasty this winter. When I was browsing their website, I was impressive but their collection. I am a strong believer in giving season gifts and as the winter season is coming up, a winter coat is just the ticket.

Accessories: Scarf and Jewellery

During my recent visit to Faro in Portugal, I did a little bit of shopping and got my mother a scarf. She loves her scarves and my obsession with buying her them is getting out of control. I was also able to pick up some Jewellery, she does love nice pieces to compliment her outfits. Almost all mums love jewellery and if yours doesn’t, a nice scarf might do the trick.

Spa Day

For her birthday this year, I treated mum to a nice stay at the spa and she really loved it. She was able to just relax and not think about working, cooking, cleaning or anything. I made sure that my sister and I could join for a treatment then relaxing with her. All mother’s want to enjoy time to themselves and time to just relax and not worry about anything.

Every year I make a point of buying my mum Baylis & Harding items so she can get pampered at home. Not everyone can afford spa visits, I therefore opt for some pampering products and they do the trick. This year thanks to *Victoria Plum, I chose this Baylis & Harding Gown set in pink which we absolutely love.

Girls only Brunch

Another thing I think is a perfect gift was treating mum to a nice girls only brunch somewhere nice. We took our mum to London where we enjoyed a nice brunch before doing some shopping. I loved how happy my mother looked as she relaxed and went shopping with her daughters. A brunch doesn’t have to be outside the home, you can make something nice at home and chill.

Christmas Hamper

One present that never fails is a hamper, I sat online the other day and curated a hamper for my mum. She looks her sweet treats, her tea and biscuits. I made sure the hamper was full of things that she loves and enjoys especially around Christmas. Online there are plenty of hampers that you gift your loved ones but not all are worth the price. I buy from Prestige Hampers and love their hampers, and has some lovely goodies in them.

Luxury Handbag

Now, not everyone is into bags but it does not hurt to have a nice quality bag for a special occasion. I have bought my mother loads of hang bags but this time I wanted to invest a little. It is something that she can use for a long time and can wear to the many parties she attends.

Personalised Calendar

Since our nephew was born, my mum can not snap enough pictures of him and a few years ago I made her a calendar. She absolutely loved it and since then I try and gift her something personalised at least once a year. I pick all the cheeky pictures of my nephew and a few of us her children. Personalised gifts often make for the best presents no matter the occasion.

Perfumes

Another thing I am obsessed with buying for my mother is perfumes, I travel loads and buy them at the airport. whenever I see perfumes that I know my mum would love, I buy them for her and this Christmas is no different. I have bought her about 5 perfumes in the last month and I know she will just love them.

If you’re still unsure about what to get your mum or your wife, I hope these ideas help. Personally I think the Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum are the ones that you know she will love. Presents that are meaningful, that are useful and mostly don’t cost the earth.

I sent my Mom for advance Christmas gifts last month, bought her jewelries and scarves. The scarves are more useful to her and jewelries as her (kept) investment. 😀

I love those earrings! I know my mom would love a spa day, but only if I went with her 🙂 I think for future Christmases, I am going to just start planning Girl’s Trips for us. That’s really what she would love more than anything else I think

You’ve got some great ideas! My mom isn’t really high maintenance so most of these don’t work for her but she would love the personalized calendar or a good winter coat.
