I am still relieving the many things that made November epic for me, I spent half of the month in paradise and can not wait to share all about it. I decided many months ago to start sharing a few things in my life that either made me smile or make the month epic in my eyes. Sometimes we get boggled with the world that we forget to appreciate the small but significant things that happen in our lives. Take a moment every single month to think of this that made you smile in that month and gives you the good vibes feeling when you recall them.
For the month of October, I shared the 5 things that made me smile and this ranged from small business wins to big financial wins and I am still beaming from that. Whilst the month of November is severely low scale in comparison, it still had so many things that made November epic and I can not wait to share the epic-ness that was the ended month. I truly encourage anyone struggling to start looking for small joys within your life and document them, it will surprise you just how many incredible things happen in your life.

5 Things that made November Epic
The first few days of November I spent it avoiding people because I did not want to catch the rona which would have sucked and pump a damper on my plans for the rest of the month. I am so glad that I continued to stay away from people and only left the house when absolutely necessary. The main reason for doing that was because of the major trip that I had booked back in February and had been looking forward to it for 10 months already.
Solo Trip to the Maldives
So yes!! I went on a solo adventure to the Maldives and I am still in awe of that incredible paradise and highly recommend it. I will share a post on the cost of travelling to the Maldives as a solo traveller because I have been asked if I would consider a trip there affordable for a solo traveller. Personally I found it very affordable, I had planned a budget of £800 and I spent less than that. If I wanted to, I would have spent £0 on the island and only covered the cost of rona tests and nothing else.
Achieved all financial goals for the month
Even with a trip abroad I still manage to achieve my financial goals for the month, I call this a win because normally when we travel we spend more money than necessary. I call this an epic win because I was still able to stay on top of my finances even when the temptation to spend money lavishly was high. If you want to learn how I manage my money and always step on top of my finances even when I am travelling then check out my YouTube channel.
Spent time with Family
One of the things that I have been enjoying a lot of recently is spending time with my family and for the month of November, I spent time with my mother. I love spending time with my mum and this time I drove to her house, we went out to dinner, did some shopping and spend way too much time chatting. We did a lot of things that make me giddy even thinking about it now.
Avoided Black Friday Shopping
I consider this an epic move because I was able to avoid shopping on Black Friday even though I spent the majority of November saving for it. What I did instead is spend the Black Friday money treating my mum, her friends and myself to something that we love and enjoy. I watched a lot of videos and read articles that exposed a lot of companies who inflated the prices and called them ‘sale’ prices when they weren’t so I am glad I avoided shopping on Black Friday.
I hired a cleaner
Yes! I am that millennial that needs someone else to clean their house whilst I focus on more important things that generate more income for me. I love my home and I love cleaning it big time, the problem is I spend at least 3 hours cleaning either upstairs or downstairs. It takes a lot of my time on the weekend so I decided to outsource this work so that I could focus on more important things in my life. This little act employed someone but also gave me some freedom to focus on things that matter more to me.
And that’s it, these are some of the things that made November epic for me, I had unexpected tax bill that just about broke the bank, my roof got damaged and so many things just started happening which would have killed off my joy if I let it. This is why I focus on sharing the small wins that I experience in my life to remind me even when big bad things happen I still have a reason to smile.

Maldives was my plan a few years ago when I had got a good offer from the travel agency. However, things changed due to private reasons and I could still not make the trip. I hope after all these situations, I can still make it one day. Wish you a wonderful March!
