After a long day at work I decided to take a quick shower then hit the hay! I decided to start using my new facial product Arran Aromatics’ Lavender Facial gel wash. Me being lazy lead me to discover the rejuvenating properties of this product, instead of using wipes to remove my make-up I just washed it off using the lavender facial gel wash and I was really surprised at how good my skin felt, I did not experience that feeling of clogged pores instead my face felt fresh, smooth but unfortunately tight as well but that was only because I left it dry for too long before I moisturised.
WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?
Among other elements, this product contains anti-bacterial tea tree oil ~ to cleanse and tone your skin! lavender essential oil used for its antiseptic and rejuvenating properties. It also contains loofah to gently deep cleanse and exfoliate your skin and combat spots.
WHAT COLOUR IS IT?
It’s green in colour with some white colour flakes, these flakes dissolve once you apply this on your face.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO USE IT?
I would recommend twice daily and use with a moisturiser like simple as I am not sure if Arran Aromatics make a moisturiser to go with this product. I use simple because it contains nothing that can make my skin react because am using a different product from it.
WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Obviously lavender but I smell a hint of mint too.
WHAT SKIN TYPE CAN USE THIS PRODUCT?
I think any skin type can use this product because it contains the good stuff like lavender and tea tree oil. Unless your allergic to things like benzoic acid then I would check with my dermatologist.
IS IT VALUE FOR MONEY?
I don’t know how much (**Update £12.95) they are selling it for because I got it as part of the beauteco (love me beauty) subscription, August edition 2013. It came in a 100ml bottle and have been using it for a week now and I think have got another 2 weeks in it before it’s finished. I don’t use too much just enough to fit your pinky is enough for your face or two pinkies if you prefer

Honestly I do believe that this is a great product to have as part of your face care regime, you don’t have to be using it every morning and night you can do what I do which is I only use it at night because then my pores are open and rejuvenated and will stay fresh till the morning when I use simple to just wash off the sweat at whatever.
