Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

A July Dreamer ~ The 1000th Post

A July Dreamer was born 3 years, 11 months, 6 days and many hours ago in a small room in Newbury. I had no idea of what exactly I was going to blog about or even appreciated what blogs where. Blogging was not something I had always wanted to do nor did I know anything about them. To be sat here writing my 1000th is quite a shock for me because I never thought I would still be blogging. I would like to sit here and share what I have learned in the last 3 (almost 4) years but I won’t. Instead I wanted to just say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the wonderful readers and sponsors of A July Dreamer.

A July Dreamer ~ History

A July Dreamer was started as a place I can share my mumblings and meet fellow minded people. It has changed names many times: Myrabev’s Corner or Myrabev’s World where the first names I used. Then months later I changed it to Purely by Accident but the name it didn’t fit into my theme. After a year of Purely by Accident I re-branded to A July Dreamer and bought my own domain.

A July Dreamer ~ Stats

The stats are nothing to be envied but I am still proud of them and the work I put in. End of 2016 I made a decision to create an Instagram account for the blog and keep Myrabev account for my other blog. Another decision I made in 2016 was to merge my two Facebook pages into one  called A July Dreamer. The decision was purely because I work harder on A July Dreamer than on The Myrabev Life blog. The Pinterest account and twitter where left untouched as these had been branded already. In terms of unique page views it ranges between 6k – 10k per month which is quite a lot for me.

1000th post

Sponsorship & Collaborations

Since end of 2013 I have had the privilege of collaborating with many different brands and companies. I do remember my first collaboration, I was naive but definitely happy and grateful. Since then A July Dreamer has grown and developed  a way to collaborate with other companies and brands. More information on what we offer and fees is available on the “Work with Me” page.

The last 1000th post have been awesome to write and I am excited for the next 1000th. I want to THANK each and everyone of you who time and again visit A July Dreamer.

A million congratulations on your 1000th post! As a blogger myself, I know the hard work that went into reaching this milestone and you’ve worked your tail off. Have you gone back and read through some of your first posts? I do that sometimes and think “look how far I’ve come” Bravo!

I can only imagine what it would be like to reach 1000 posts! This is an amazing milestone to achieve. Working with brands is also a great achievement to reach. If it is possible, which of your posts was your favourite to write?

Wow, you’ve come a long way baby! 1000 posts is pretty spectacular, I’m impressed. Blogging is a passion of mine but sometimes I fall out of love with it and it gets sidelined, so I really admire your commitment. Wishing you lots more luck in the future 🙂

Congratulations! I don’t know if I ever wanted to be a blogger either. My first two never picked up any momentum. But, I find that the longer I produce, the more energy that I get from it. GOOD FOR BOTH OF US! 🙂
