Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Love Me Beauty ~ July Box

IMG_1173.JPG

Hi there! I am sorry it been a while since I did a post on here (excluding the link party Monday) it’s just life has taken a hold of me and it’s proving to be a losing game on my side as even with the amount of free time I get after work I just want to sit and watch TV or talk to my friends on the phone. Any who I am back but not sure how long for but I thought I share my July love me beauty box (better late than never).

//July Box
Lashem (sample size) lash enhancing serum (RRP £40 for 3.5ml); firstly the price is steep and secondly I am even more scared to try it since it’s so expensive

Ofra (full size) pressed eye shadow in bliss (RRP £8.80); I will not lie I have loved using this product every time it feel like wearing make up it’s my first choice but would I pick it up at the store if I was buying it myself the answer is no simple as. It’s a great product with great pigmentation and lasts a couple of hours before with my oil face it disappears into thin air.

Ofra (full size) long lasting liquid lipstick “Hollywood” (RRP (£11.60); we’ll y’all know I love me some good lipstick though liquid one is my first but sorry I am not a fan and as for lasting it really didn’t last for me and maybe it’s just that the colour doesn’t work for my lip colour.

So Susan (full size) fluter mascara (RRP £14.95); I loved how this mascara helped me achieve the “darkest, curviest lashes” possible. I loved how there was no smudging. Though the price is so steep I would actually buy this.

So Susan (full size) dual brow powder (RRP 11.95); I am yet to try this product so I can’t really comment. This product is infused with Aloe Extract and Carrot Seed oil to nourish and rejuvenate the sensitive skin around eyes.

The Teashed 4am Tea-20 whole leaf white tea silky pyramid teabags (RRP £3.50); I am yet to use them but them smell so good and they are naturally low in caffeine which is great for me because I don’t want anything keeping me up if I decided to drink tea at 4am.

Though I did not try all and most probably wouldn’t buy some of these products at the RRP I will say the July box has been one of my favourite since I started receiving beauty boxes. What are you favourite items in my July a Box? Would you spending the asking price for some of these products? Have you ever used any of the products before?

    I have not worn makeup in years but I still like to look at it. Most makeup is packaged in such pretty containers.
