Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Review} Mango Salute ~ Cards for every occasion.

How many of you like receiving cards? Especially well thought out cards that suite your personality? Well mango salute has you covered, I am all about personalised gifts. I love them because it’s personal and it’s very well thought out and gives the impression the person took time with your gift. I have always loved receiving personalised gifts and these I treasure more than other gifts and I think they stay with you longer than others because if you see something similar to it takes you back to that gift and the person who took there time to send something so special.

Having had a chance to view the mango salute website I was very impressed with the layout, the ease of navigation and the categorisation of products. I have seen a number of card websites which are just too overwhelming and not properly organised which I don’t know about you makes me leave the site faster than my chromebook turning on. The colour scheme it’s clean, presentable and professional looking. The different artwork is great and I just love that with their cards you’re not limited to the big occasions but have more option on choosing cards for different occasions. They make cards from sustainable forest, gives you 100% guarantee, ship first class world wide and have amazing artists from over 30 countries around the world.

I was given 5 cards for free to facilitate this review, I found searching and choosing the cards quite easy and straightforward. I love that I had options on how I wanted my card to appear either the traditional way of: art design on front page then inside you could choose if you wanted to add photos and how many, choosing which side the text appeared and the font plus what paper orientation. Choosing and adding pictures was easy, you have options to get pictures from computer or facebook plus you have an option to ad a caption to the pictures. Another feature which I think is awesome is that at the back of the card you can insert a personalised video or any video of your choice, then mango salute with print the finished card and add a barcode of sort which the reader can scan with their smart phone and view the video. Isn’t this the coolest and neatest idea ever? I love it and excited to do that for the New Year cards, will be nice to reflect on the ending year and thank the people who made it special and bearable.

You can tell I loved everything about mango salute and their service. They are a web based company and they ship world wide, for the UK they post first class and mostly free. Almost all their cards were £4.50 (they have other currencies too) I think it’s reasonable since you get it posted first class. The designs are very unique and can capture even the toughest critics and they are of great quality. I have no bad word for this company, I love their customer service. Ordering from them is simplified and stress free, they have saved me from sending dull cards to my family and helped me to choose creations which suit my families many personalities. The people at mango salute are so lovely that they are offer 40% off all their cards at the moment and the offer ends 31st December. Since it’s too late to send Christmas cards at least for the UK the deadline was 19th December but don’t fret you can always send family and friends New Year season cheers and greetings.

Those cards are so beautifully artistic, such a long cry from the typical ‘hallmark’ saying. Those look perfect for a distinctive card that could be framed…!
