Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

New Home

new home

“A procrastinator is someone who likes to put off doing something out of sheer carelessness or laziness”. I had become this person and I did not like myself for it. On top of having blogger’s block I can’t seem to be able to put all these thoughts and ideas I have for my blog, this is definitely very unbecoming of me. If you remember one of my earlier posts in 2014 I stated that I will be blogging every other day during the week on this blog and the remainder days on the other blog but so much has happened and is happening that I have not been able to stick to my plan. I decided last week to do something about this laziness and undecidedness I have been facing, so what have I done to get myself off the ground.

  • Changed my blog name (again!!!)
  • Bought a domain name
  • Hosting my blog with GoDaddy and WordPress
  • Designing my new site (hard work <– stressful)
  • Changing my bloglovin url’s
  • Sending out tweets about new blog name and url
This and many other things have kept me busy, so why did I choose to change my blog name again?? Well I was born in July and since I am a dreamer I figured A-JULY-DREAMER suited me best than Purely-By-Accident. I am trying to reinvent myself somehow, my other blog The Myrabev Life is still up and functioning. At the moment I can not stick to my blogging schedule until things settle down but I will be blogging when I can and at present it will most likely be during the weekend.
I just wanted to thank my readers for sticking with me and being patient as I go about trying to reinvent myself in the blogsphere.

Awesome new name. And about the writers block, a little idea I can give you is to post a picture of something that you like, a pic you took or something that inspires you. And share whatever your feelings are about it. You are so cool and have so many things to say!!

I face the same struggles. There was a point where I settled for blogging once per month due to my busy schedule. Now, I tell myself to blog whenever I feel that it’s right. Oddly enough, letting go actually allowed me to blog more frequently than I have before! One thing I do is I write drafts about what I have in mind. In due time, I will post them [after tweaking a few things that cater to my current state of mind]. That’s my strategy. I wish you the best of luck! 🙂
