Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨

{Review} The Flower Studio

Tulip Garden

In less than 10 days I will be moving into my apartment, I am so excited even though I have so much to do in so little time. I have shared with you my plans for decorating my place both the living room space and the bedroom space too but for the living I failed to mentioned one important thing and that is the flowers. I remember as a kid I always used to say I want fresh flowers in my home every day but though that may not be practical and financially sound I figured I would go to my local Lidl and get some nice flowers which I know last for more than a week. Well as luck may have it an opportunity was presented to me to review  a garden bouquet of flowers from the flower studio.

When the opportunity arose I was preparing for Korea but I knew I wanted these flowers for my parents house as I know my mum loves flowers big time. I do not know what it is about flowers that changes the entire feel of a space. The lovely people at the flower studio informed me when they would send the flowers and requested my address for delivery. The customer service was impeccable and on point, the flowers were delivered to my parents when they said they would delivery and I asked both of my parents what they thought?

“Dad – It is a lovely bouquet with an aroma to be cherished. You know a rose flower is a rose flower”

“Mum – They are such beautiful flowers which are nicely arranged, are they for me?”

I am still working on my father’s words because I have never heard him describe anything like that before.

The Flower studio are a UK based company based in Marlow, they have a wide product range (The Bride, Little extras etc)  and aim to offer their customers the best flower service on the market. They have different delivery service options including store collection and payment can be made in a number of ways including Paypal and WorldPay. They offer next day delivery for orders made before 1pm, free delivery for orders over £40 and currently have a £5 off offer for your first order, just enter WELCOME at check-out.

The Flower Studio: Address: 4 Liston Court, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, SL7 1ER. Tel: 01628 477990

I love flowers, too, + if i had my way i also love a beautiful bouquet at home everyday! but yes, they do not come cheap, the next best thing is to tend to your own flowering plants in a garden + wait for the flowers to blossom. judging from your dad’s words, i bet he really appreciated the bunch they got! 🙂

I totally agree with you, flowers do brighten up any space and I’d love to be one of those people who have fresh flowers every day. For now, my rose scented room spray will do the trick!

Your flowers are beautiful. As far as growing any on my property, I don’t. My son & I are both allergic to bees so why tempt faith as they say, but I do plant leafy plants and of course my veggie garden 🙂

I love your dad’s description of the bouquet. My dad had a way of surprising me with his descriptions at times too. It was like “Where did that come from?!”

As for the flowers themselves, the picture is quite lovely and what I’m seeing on the company’s site are equally gorgeous.
