Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Splash Proof Review and Giveaway

Thank you Revive a Phone for making this conversation possible.

Splash Proof

I am a strong believer in taking care of your gadgets especially mobile phones, in the day and age almost everyone has a phone and the majority of us have smart phones. I to this date (touch wood) have never dropped my phone in water, broken the screen or even allowed it to get wet. I go as far as protecting my phone using the umbrella and me getting wet but not my phone because well most smart phones are expensive and repairing fees are just ridiculous you’re better off saving for a new one or getting last’s year model than paying for repairs.

When I was offered an opportunity to try out the splash proof by Revive a Phone I was already eager to try it but I was also very skeptical because I honesting thought it would make my phone water proof but I re-read the information and it said making your phone water resistant not waterproof.

..phew..

The product arrived a few days ago so I have had a chance to play around with and decide if I actually want to subject my phones to it or just do an impressions post but curiosity won over and I tested the product.

The instructions are pretty simple and easy to follow.

The product is made from advanced nano technology.

The product came in a box with an instructions menu, a microfibre cloth and a plastic scraper.

I sprayed the product (3 times per instructions) onto the phone buttons & openings merely avoiding the screen but I am a klutz so some did get onto my screen.

I waited the 5 minute recommended time then used the scraper to remove the excess coating then sprayed the solution onto the cloth and buffed my screen clean.

I am happy to say my phone is still working and no damage to it or the screen.

Because my phone is black in colour you can see the coating since it has made the buttons and openings look shinier than usual.

I am happy the product does not contain in harmful chemicals and it is only recommended for smartphones.

I am loving my #Splash solution just finished coating my #smartphones .@Reviveaphone #sponsor #review #nanotechnology

What a neat product. Luckily, I haven’t gotten my phone wet yet but better be safe than sorry right? That is a must have!

Thats pretty cool. It’s like Rainex for phones. I have an Invisishield on my iPhone. It does make the screen splash resistant.

This is something I need especially that summer is coming up. We always go to the pool and the kids are not very careful when splashing with water on things.

While this is the first time that I’ve heard of a water-resistant coating for smart phones, I see the importance and how helpful this product is. I myself need one. Yup, most of the time, phone repairs could cost you so much more compared to just getting a new unit.
