Are you looking for ways to make money blogging? Blogging is a great way to make money online but it takes patience, dedication and hard work. Money made from blogging can come from many online revenues.
Earlier in the year, I shared how I make money blogging and included my main sources. Every blogger is different, we all utilised different ways that

Ways to Make Money Blogging
The sole purpose of this blog was to share personal ramblings including things that I love. Over the years things changed and I started to provide structure to the blog in time I started making money. Here are some of the ways to make money blogging.
Sponsored Posts
Sponsored posts are the most common ways to make money blogging. Back when I realised I could make money blogging, I used to apply for opportunities presented in blogging groups. These days I am fortunate that PR companies and brands reach out to me directly to work on sponsored posts.
Most bloggers also reach out to brands who match their theme and ask for sponsored collaborations. I have only ever done this a few times and been fortunate on them too. Do not be discouraged if they don’t agree

Sell Your Products
Selling your products on your blog is another great way to make money online. Whilst I do not personally make anything, my mother has a side hustle selling knitted baby clothes.
Other blogs sell planners, calendars and other blogging resources that can help you take the blog to the next level. Most bigger bloggers have even written books which they sell on their blogs.
Affiliate Links
I will share my disclaimer now, I don’t make money via affiliate marketing. Other bloggers seem to credit this as
If you wish to give affiliate marketing a try, then check out affiliate pages like Awin or Share-a-Sale. For fashion bloggers, I would recommend Collective Style shop which allows you to create outfits that can be bought.

Invest Money in Your Blog
I know it sounds counterproductive but investing in your blog can make you money. Little things like buying a domain, changing up your blog theme and using better pictures. Invest
Think of it this way, outside your stats and reading your posts, the theme is what they look at first. Either

Passive Income Q2 2018
As I have already mentioned, on this blog, I make money mostly from sponsored posts. I am fortunate to be in a possible where PR companies and brands reach out to me. Over the last 4 years
Whilst the Q2 2018 report is late, I thought I share what I made in during April thru to June 2018. Please note, the amounts shared do not include PayPal fees or blog maintenance fees.
During the month of April, I made roughly £500 before the aforementioned fees. Then in May, I made around £700 again this was before the relevant fees. Finally
As you can see I didn’t do too badly considering I blog part-time and this is a side hustle. Please note that these are not exact fees but rough estimates rounded. All earnings are declared to our HMRC to be compliant with our national laws.
I do hope that this post helps bloggers who are just starting out or want to monetise their blogs. It is not impossible to make money from the blog but

Why I share my blog earnings
I know most bloggers are not comfortable sharing
- To motivate other bloggers, to know it is possible to make money from your blog
- To track my earnings for tax purposes, obviously
, everyone does it differently.
This blog has brought so many opportunities my way, I share those so for me it makes sense to share earnings too. Again this is a personal choice, not sharing your earnings is a choice too,

I’ve been blogging for three years and I definitely don’t make much money. But I’m also very picky about who I work with and the downside to working with some companies is that they don’t want to pay you. When I first started out I thought I would do a few reviews for free just to get myself out there. That was a bad idea. Soon, I was getting loads of offers to work with me but for no money. Plus, the things I was reviewing I didn’t really believe in and I absolutely think that in order to sell anything or do a proper review of a product, you must believe in it. I do like your tips though. It is a great way to make a little extra money if you desire it.

I’ve definitely made money from blogging. But I have to admit from time to time I feel burnt out and drained. But I’ve been doing this as a side hustle for almost ten years now and I prefer it over selling products online to friends and hoping for their support. I’m not really a salesperson so I can’t really do those jobs.
