Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨

{Beauty} The Best Four

Throughout 2014 and the best part of this month I have shared a few Beauty products which if I am honest have done exactly what they said they do. I have tried and tested a lot of products which any other time I probably would not have tried myself or even know about if it was not for companies contacting me. I have been very fortunate to have been able to try out different products and on today’s post I wanted to remind you of each and every single one of these products that has left me wanting another bottle. I also wanted to share with you another product that has me smiling the last 2 weeks because well it really is one of the best on the market and I was kicking myself for not being aware of this product sooner.

Skin secrets’ Vitamin C serum

This was my first introduction to face serums, I had seen them around for a while but never really ventured or dared to try them. I did mention when I shared my New & improved nightly face routine which if I am honest I do not do every night, I do when I remember but I digress. The face serum makes my face look youthful and soft, I usually use this serum after I use the Derma roller at night and when I wake up my face is just amazing.

Simple Skincare Toner

I mentioned in my keep it simple post on how I use simple skincare range as my backup products. It’s important to have back up products when whatever you’re using don’t work or stop working, only you know what those products are. The simple toner is my usual go to toner especially when I am trying out new face products or whatever products i am using do not have a toner. It has no harmful ingredients making it the perfect toner to mix it up with other products.

Oz Natural products

I can not praise these products enough, I had not heard of them before the company contacted me and now I can not seem to get enough of them. The serums are wonderful and contain natural ingredients which are already in our skin so it’s just like having a top up, these products are better than a facelift. The eye gel is just amazing, since it claimed to reduce puffy eyes I tried it when I looked like a zombie; long and behold they work. What I have found also is that if you use them preventatively they work like a charm.

Oz naturals

Refresh Skin Therapy

I was contacted by the company called Refresh Skin Therapy to try out their range (and what a beautiful range it is) and I am a very happy bunny, I do have quite a few products but as I mentioned in my keep it simple post it’s good to try out other products and see what works and what doesn’t as well as having a backup product. I chose the cleaner and the restore moisturizing cream which looked amazing and they work amazingly. I have been testing them out for the last 2 weeks and I have no complaints, what I like about the cleanser is the container is cute and pink, it has a pump so easy to get it out, the cleanser smells lovely and so smooth. So far I have used the cleanser with my soniclear and its just wonderful, these two were match made above. The restore cream is very creamy and moisturising, I have noticed that when I wear my simple toner then the restore cream my face is less oily throughout the day. When I wear the restore cream alone I do have the oily T-zone but not as much as before or compared to other products have used. I love the smell of it and the wonderful feeling on the skin. Applying it is easy and you just put enough to cover your face and the air will cool it into your skin and its absorbed beautifully.

REfresh

I am loving these products this line and I can not wait to share more. What products have you been loving so far? How many did you manage to try out if at all? I know most people don’t change their products that much but I loved trying out new ones and knowing what my skin likes and doesn’t and now I feel more like an expert for my skin.
