Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Beauty} Refresh Skin Therapy ~ Review

REfresh

In my last beauty post ~ The Best Four, I introduced you to another line of beauty products I am currently trialing. I was sent these lovely products by the wonderful people at Refresh Skin Therapy, I will be honest before this time I was not aware of them and the wonderful products they offer. Thanks to blogging and being recommended by other companies and bloggers alike I was sent these amazing products, I must truly sound like a broken record because so far all the products I have tried have been really good and I hope they stay that way as I do not want a nasty break-out or reaction. I mentioned in my Keep it simple post to always have a backup product and to always buy natural products or products with same ingredients. The two products I wanted to share with you today are the: Reveal Pre Peel Rose Glow Cleanser (4oz) {£22.50/$21.95} and The Best Hyaluronic Acid Pure Moisturizing Cream Serum. {£24.95/$24.95}. These products can be purchased via Amazon UK (in pound) or their website (in dollars).

REVIEW – I have been testing them out for the last 2 weeks and I have no complaints, what I like about the cleanser is the container is cute and pink, it has a pump so easy to get it out, the cleanser smells lovely and so smooth. So far I have used the cleanser with my soniclear and its just wonderful, these two were match made above. The restore cream is very creamy and moisturising, I have noticed that when I wear my simple toner then the restore cream my face is less oily throughout the day. When I wear the restore cream alone I do have the oily T-zone but not as much as before or compared to other products have used. I love the smell of it and the wonderful feeling on the skin. Applying it is easy and you just put enough to cover your face and the air will cool it into your skin and its absorbed beautifully.

So this is a pre-peel and post-peel? What about the actual peel?
Or am I just super confused?? 😛

I’m curious to know what the whole line, altogether, would do! Let them know that they ought to send you some more things to trial out because you’ve got a very nosey fan!! lol

I haven’t heard of Refresh Skin before, but it sounds like they’ve got some great active ingredients in their products! I especially like the sound of the moisturizing serum since it has hyaluronic acid, which is the active ingredient in some of my fav skincare products. 🙂 Thanks for the review!
