Last month we had an opportunity to review The East London Hotel located in Bethnal Green. This idyllic, chic and the newly opened hotel is located minutes from Bethnal Green Underground station. 7 Reasons to Love The East London Hotel
I am a frequent traveller and my airport of choice is Stansted because most cheaper Ryanair flights depart from there. Over the last year, I had been contemplating breaking my journeys into two. This is why when I had the opportunity to review the hotel, I jumped at it.
The East London Hotel is conveniently located in the National Express Bus route to Stansted Airport. Not only that but flying from Southend is a breeze if this hotel is your choice of accommodation. Its proximity to central London makes it an attractive and cost-effective location. Here are some of the other 7 reasons to love The East London Hotel.
Proximity to London Airports
As mentioned already, the hotel is located on the route for the National Express bus to Stansted Airport. It’s a 45-minute ride to the airport in a comfortable and airconditioned coach. For other airports like Southend, Heathrow and
Locally sourced foods
Using locally sourced foods is not only good for the environment but supports the local community too. We loved that the food we ate was not only delicious, but it was also filling and fresh.
Close proximity to train station
For those wanting to explore other parts of London, Shoreditch is down the road. But if central London is in your sights then, grab a train a minute walk from the hotel.
Very Comfortable Beds
All the rooms are fitted with pocket spring mattresses made by Millbrook a British company. The hotel in collaboration with Millbrook make these comfy mattresses the guarantee a good night sleep.
V&A Children’s Museum
The hotel is family friendly with interconnecting and spacious rooms. The big sale is that there is a children’s museum across the street which is free. The kids can enjoy
Various restaurants nearby
Even though the hotel has a restaurant, at every corner turn there are various restaurants surrounding the hotel. We were amazing at just how many restaurants there are in the vicinity of the hotel. As the hotel for some recommendations or check out their website for some incredible suggestions.
Better room size compared to most London Hotels
London is known for its ‘smaller than usual’ hotel room sizes, they know how to squeeze everything in. We were impressed that the room was bigger than most London hotels. The double room had space under the bed to store luggage, spacious bathroom and space for a cot bed.
We can not recommend The East London Hotel enough, it is such a quaint and lovely hotel. We hope you find these 7 reasons to love The East London Hotel useful.
