Prezzo Restaurant Didcot is a lovely restaurant where we enjoyed a nice sisterly date. Prezzo is a UK restaurant franchise with over 186 branches across the UK specializing in serving the best Italian dishes. The franchise seems to be a create employer to work for as it looks after its people.
In the last few years, I have been to a number of Prezzo restaurants that I have definitely loved. One thing I have loved is there Eat well, Live Well, Be Well motto which definitely resonates with its customers. They have created specific menus that cater to gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, calorie count and allergens.

Dinner at Prezzo Restaurant Didcot
Didcot is a small but vibrant village in the heart of Oxfordshire with an easy commute to Oxford and Reading. In the last couple of years, I have taken great interest in sharing eateries in Didcot that I almost always take my guests to. There are a few others that I recommend and will search soon.
With a busy few months coming up, I decided to meet up with my sister and treat her to a nice meal. Neither one of us has been to the Prezzo Restaurant Didcot, we wanted to check it out. It was the best decision ever as not only did we enjoy the food, we enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant.

Our final bill was just over £30 for 2 people for 2 courses on a normal menu. We enjoyed this deal thanks to my 2for1 taste card with Natwest.
Prezzo Restaurant Didcot – Starter {5/5}
Whenever I visit Prezzo, I seem to only ever order the same starter always and that’s calamari. This time I wanted to make a change and went for the meatballs which were absolutely divine. I am always weary about having a meat-based started as it can be quite filling.
I ordered the Giant Meatballs with Pomodoro sauce and I can not recommend them enough. The meatballs were soft and cooked to perfection and I loved that they could be made gluten-free if needed. With companying Pomodoro sauce, it was a match made in sauce heaven.

Prezzo Restaurant Didcot – Main Meal {5/5}
As much as I enjoyed the starter, I enjoyed the main meal even more so as it as delicious. I am a creature of habit and if I am unsure about what to try at the restaurant, I almost always order what I know. Whenever I visit Prezzo restaurants, I always choose a pasta dish and this visit was no exception.
For the mains, I chose Spaghetti with King Prawns served in a chilli garlic Pomodoro sauce. As my sister is pescatarian, I ordered mains that she could nibble on too even though she had her own meal. The pasta was cooked really well and the king prawn to perfection with nothing chewy.
I absolutely found the whole meal absolutely amazing and glad almost all foods on the menu can be made gluten-free. It is encouraging to see just how many people visit my local Prezzo and hearing how much they love it. Visiting the branch, I now understand why everyone’s favourite eatery.
We did not order dessert because our starter and mains were very filling and satisfying. We had ordered a drink each {a beer and a cider} plus tap water for the table. Thanks for my Natwest taste card, we enjoyed a 2for1 deal that saved us lots of money.
Good to know
For those visiting Didcot for the first time, there are a few things to note. There is parking at the back on Wilkinsons or near the cinema, both charge a small fee but free on Sunday. For those wanting to make a date out of it, there is a cinema right next door to the restaurant.
The restaurant is popular with families and couples which is always nice to see. The decor is pretty impressive and quite airy, it is kept well ventilated and flowery. We loved how friendly the staff where and how they looked after their customers.
