Looking back at each decade, I feel both โ€˜olderโ€™ and โ€˜youngerโ€™, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.

3rd Blogavesary & Financial Report Q2 2016

Today marks 3 years of blogging, I can not believe it’s already been that long since I decided to take the plunge and commit myself to blogging. I have come such a long way but I am always humbled and grateful for I do not think I have completely lost the reason I started blogging. I have decided this year again to share my financial reports instead of telling you about what I have learnt in the last three years because I know a lot of bloggers do that so I will leave that to them and just continue on as normal.

I can’t believe I am already sharing my financial report Q2 2016. It feels like just last month I was sharing the Q1 results and how I managed to make over ยฃ1k which for a part-time blogger is pretty awesome and decent pocket-money. I will say this again, I am not showing off but showing you what hard work can bring forth with a bit of luck and patience. If you start blogging solely for making money then you’re starting it wrong unless it’s a business.

Today marks 3 years of blogging, I can not believe it's already been that long since I decided to take the plunge and commit myself to blogging.

Disclaimer: I don’t share these reports to boast but because I am proud of my hard work, I am humbled by the sponsors who chose to work with me and to encourage other bloggers and show them it’s possible to earn something even as a part-time blogger.ย

Financial Report Q2 2016 results

I have said this before and I will say it again, blogging for me is a hobby and a lucrative one at that but it never started out like that. I started with the sole purpose of ranting away on this generation and anything I could think of. then I shifted gears and started reviewing products I owned, created fashion outfit ideas and whatever else I could think of. I am glad I have stuck to the core topics and it seems because of this I now have an amazing following and worked with reliable and well know companies. With that being said, here is the financial report Q2 2016 results.

As always with these types of reports, I break down the report into individual months that make the quarter and in those months I share how much I earned and from what.

April Earnings – ยฃ220.45 in sponsored posts and ยฃ19.99 in products

April was fairly busy month for me, I had so many things to do before my trips to Oslo, Norway then to Seoul, South Korea. The few companies I was able to work with brought me so much joy and glad they chose to work with me.

May Earnings – ยฃ265 in sponsored posts and ยฃ29.99 in products

After returning from Korea, I felt as though I did not even have chance to rest. It was the same for my blog, I had some lovely sponsors contact me to work together again. I am happy I was working with sponsors I had worked with before so made this even more special.

June Earnings – ยฃ160.21 in sponsored posts and ยฃ0 in products

June was another really busy month of traveling, I was out every weekend in June but I still have an opportunity to work with some amazing sponsors.

And there you have it,  for the financial report Q2 2016 I made ยฃ645.66 in cash in bank and ยฃ49.98 in products.

Earnings from Q2 of 2016 = ยฃ645.66

I am very pleased with these earnings and are very excited to see what Q3 2016 and Q4 2016 has in store for A July Dreamer. Is blogging a hobby, business or a little bit of both? Do you earn anything from the blog? Do you share your earnings (if at all)?

This month I earned ยฃ320 the most I have earned ever in a month of blogging although two of those payments were from last months posts. Well done you are doing amazingly, is there any tips you would give to get more sponsored posts or a formula you use to charge each post?

Thanks Ana, I don’t have a formula per se but I sat down and wrote down what I felt was acceptable for sponsored and collaborative posts.

I love seeing what other people earn as it gives me motivation to work on my own blog! I make some money from sponsored posts but as blogging is a hobby, I don’t have as much time to dedicate to it as I would like.
