Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Anna De Codorniu Cava at Hilton Wembley

PR Sample

Anna de Codorniu cava is the first cava to incorporate chardonnay in its blend and was recently added to Hilton Wembley’s Sky bar 9 to add some sparkle this summer. The brand Anna de Codorniu is a Barcelona based Spanish company that is famous for creating the best Cava in the same traditional methods as those used to make champagne.

The Codorniu family history dates back to 1551 and produced its first bottle of sparkling wine in 1872 after the heiress Anna of the Codorniu family married winemaker Miquel Raventós. Codorniu Cava is widely recognised as a premium brand that has created a leading class cava, having tried it, we think it would make a perfect gift.

Disclosure: We were invited to attend the Anna De Codorniu party hosted at Hilton Wembley, all opinions shared in this post are our own.

Anna De Codorniu Cava at Hilton Wembley

Hilton Hotels and resorts are some of the well-known hospitality brands in the world and for over 100 years, they have set the benchmark for hospitality. I can not remember how many times I have stayed in Hilton hotels both for work and pleasure but each time I have enjoyed the visit. There has not been a time when I have stayed at a Hilton hotel and not enjoyed my stay, it is our prefered work hotel.

When the invite dropped in my inbox weeks ago to attend the Anna De Codorniu party, I knew it was one party I did not want to miss. I was not previously familiar with the brand but funny thing, I have had their cava before and loved it. Those who know me know I am not a big wine drinker but have a special love for chardonnay, champagne and cava.

The Codorniu UK party was held in Hilton’s Sky Bar 9, a destination terrace bar housed on the ninth floor of Hilton Wembley. Sky Bar 9 is a very popular location for those in the Wembley area looking to enjoy a nice drink and great views of the city. What is great about Hilton Wembley is that it is not far from central London but far enough from the bustling city centre.

The Sky Bar 9 is open both to the guests and the general public looking for somewhere cosy to enjoy a drink or catch up with friends. It offers unparalleled views of the Wembley, has a relaxing atmosphere, great for social events plus offers a selection of wonderful drinks including the Anna De Codorniu Cava.

We had such an amazing time at the Anna de Codorniu rooftop terrace party that was held in Hilton Wembley’s Sky Bar 9. Along with along bloggers and journalists we celebrated the opening with a white party whilst sipping of the Codorniu cava plus other cocktails that are served at Sky bar 9.

The music was on point, the conversations were flowing as smoothly as our drinks and the food was very delectable and a highlight of the evening. We had such an amazing time and now added Sky Bar 9 as a place we can visit in Wembley and Codorniu cava as our new sparkling wine.
