Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Featured Brand} Canvas Champ Review {+ #giveaway CLOSED}

Did you just move home? Are you looking for wall art that you can customize to fit into your space? Or are you looking to create a collage of 2017 to display in your home? Whatever you’re after, Canvas Champ should be your one stop shop. Canvas Champ are a London-based leading canvas prints retailer and distributor with more than 21000 positive customer reviews.

As a regular traveler I often see places that leave me breathless and forever embedded into my memory. But there are places which you want to be relieving over and over again for years to come. For me that place is Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower up close and personal. I will never forget the feeling of seeing it from afar, close by and being on it. It is for that reason why I was glad to collaborate with Canvas Champ to bring this to life. A canvas print which whenever I look across my bedroom I could see it and remember the feeling. Another reason I chose Canvas prints is because they are offer great quality products at affordable prices.

Canvas Champ Review

If you love customizing gifts for family or friends or even for yourself, you will love Canvas Champ. I remember visiting the website and feeling completely overwhelmed by the choice of prints. The website is so busy with so much going on that it can be daunting at times. I quickly found my way and after that I found it fairly easy to navigate to where I wanted.

The collaboration is for the custom canvas print, once you navigate yourself to your chosen print its super easy. Definitely on what size print you want, Canvas print has a wide selection to choose from. I chose a custom size of 12′ x 8′ print which fit my Eiffel Tower photo perfectly. You’re welcome to choose whatever size you wish but they have templates as well.

What I very much liked about the ordering process was how easy it was to upload my chosen image. You can choose you image from your personal gallery on your computer, Facebook or Instagram. You can move, zoom in/out the chosen photo around to fit into your canvas. Another thing you can also view it in 3D or 360 to see how it will look on your wall once your receive the print. What I didn’t like was the rotation icon for those of us with unsteady fingers its annoying but eventually works.

Overall experience

Overall the ordering process was pretty simple, clear a straight forward. They offer a standard delivery which can take between 5 – 7 days to reach you. I placed my order 24-November-2017 and received the first week December 2017. The shipping cost is £4.99 but can not tell if it’s for all orders regardless of the price of your order. Once the order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email as well as tracking email for your delivery.
