Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

December 2017 Sunday Currently {+ #giveaway CLOSED}

It’s already more than a year now since I last shared a Sunday Currently’s post which is weird to me. So much time has passed and yet it feels like I wrote the November Sunday Currently post only yesterday. As I often mention, I am not good with keeping up with posting series. The only series that have seem to have survived are: Fashion Favourites and Monthly Sponsors. Somehow these two series have not yet lost momentum and maybe it’s because they are really close to my heart.

December 2017 Sunday Currently

Before I share my December 2017 Sunday Currently post, I wanted to share the giveaway we have running. This giveaway is open ONLY to UK RESIDENTS over 18 years old. Spam entries will be deleted, winners will be randomly drawn by rafflecopter. The prize will be sent directly to winner by DAMART UK  can not be exchanged for another item.

Prize: Textured Floral Gown

December 2017 Sunday Currently

Whenever I put together a currently’s post, I always feel its a time of reflection for me. We lead such busy lives that often we forget to look within of what we have and not focus on the chase.

  • Reading: Two scientific papers for two assignments due on Tuesday
  • Writing: This post and done a few others, I want to schedule some posts but no motivation to write.
  • Listening: Sam Smith’s new album ‘The Thrill of it All‘
  • Thinking: About what I want out of life, what I have and what I hope to accomplish some day.
  • Smelling: German Chicken sandwich I got yesterday from Frankfurt centre
  • Wishing: I could stop procrastinating and finish my two pending assignments.
  • Hoping: I will hand in my assignments tomorrow and tour Mainz {Germany}
  • Wearing: Shorts and tank top ready for bed and it’s only 7.20pm
  • Watching: Jane the Virgin, all caught up to the latest episode

And there you have it, my December 2017 Sunday Currently. How is your Sunday so far?

    This is such a nice idea to do, to keep track of what you are reading, watching etc. I’ve just started a new crime novel.

    My Sunday was pretty chilled actually. I made a homemade dinner, wrapped some Christmas presents and watched a cheesy Christmas movie x

    I am also rubbish with series. I have good intentions but because my blog is not my job it ends up being at the bottom of the to do list. Hopefully I can change that in the New Year
