{Fashion Monday} The Easter outfit

Easter for those of us who believe is the time of celebration, I know for some this is confusing how can we be celebration Jesus’ suffering but we are NOT celebrating the suffering but what he’s suffering and sacrifice brought us “freedom, a new life in Christ“. I am not trying to preach to y’all but share with you the Easter outfit(s) I put together during the Good Friday for church and today on my way back to my place.

Easter Outfit

You do not have to be a fashion blogger or a fashionista to put outfits together, you just have to have to love for fashion and throwing things together that work without even having to put it on. As I have mentioned many a time on this blog, majority of outfits I put together are those that I have tried myself before or are wanting to try in the future. Not everything I put together online looks as good on me as it does in the collage but that is to be expected as I do not have the shape to rock everything but I do have the idea to put it together is hopes of someone rocking it on my behalf.

The Easter outfit(s) came about after I was sent my £50 amazon gift card from a promotional work I did with Buzzoole (a social influencer network) a couple of weeks ago. I redeemed my points I earned but since it can take up to 3 weeks to get the gift card I had totally forgotten about it so imagine my surprise when the e-mail with my £50 amazon gift card arrived and I had 3 days left before my trial Amazon prime was up. I quickly went online to shop for an outfit (which is the one of the left that I am rocking today) and I stumbled upon this Anastasia coat for £40 I knew there and then I needed to have this in my wardrobe. I purchased the outfit and it was delivered the following day, tried it all everything fit but I wanted to wear it together so I thought I play with this jacket and see what other outfits I can come up with. There are many that I put together in my head but these two I love for the simplistic look, I don’t like wearing too many clothes this is why I am not a fan of layering. The work outfit idea came about when I found my old dress (similar to the one in the picture) and thought it would look really nice wearing this to work.

    Some terrific outfit choices here. I love the green striped dress but then I adore green so it was always going to be a winner. I disagree that anyone can put outfits together. I think you have a natural flair for it and I really really don’t.

    Yep, you are definitely right. No need to be a stylist or a fashion guru to put an outfit together. I am in love with that coat, it’s beautiful! Awesome choice! There are a range of clothes that would look good with that.

    I love all of those pieces! Since spring is here, I have been trying to add some color to my wardrobe. I tend to stick to neutrals; black, gray, tan, etc. I have been adding colorful accessories to brighten up some of my darker pieces.

    I really like the blue shirt. All the clothes are cute though. I did not dress up for Easter, opting instead to work in the yard, but these are all great ideas for dressing up for a special occasion or to go out. Thanks for sharing!
