Looking back at each decade, I feel both ā€˜older’ and ā€˜younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women

Every woman is fashionable in her own way and that’s why I curated this Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women. Rachel Zoe once said, ‘style is the way you are without having to speak‘. There is no better time than Christmas to bring you the fashionista in you and go all out. Our Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women is exactly that, for women.

Every Friday in November until the Friday before Christmas,  A July Dreamer helping you prepare for the festive season. With only a couple of weeks left before Christmas, we decided to share the best gift ideas. This week we have put together a Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women. Last week our focus was on Women’s Lingerie now it’s on overall Fashion.

Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women

I have often voiced my opinions on how commercialised Christmas has gotten over the years. Don’t get me wrong, I love giving and receiving presents but I always think the focus has shifted. I personally feel it shouldn’t be on presents but rather spending time with family & friends. But then again, tis the season to be jolly, check out our Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women.

For all the men struggling with what to buy there female loved ones, we hope this will be helpful. In this article, we’ve compiled several items that are great ideas for almost every woman.

Winter Coat

Whenever I thinking about purchasing gifts I always take the season into consideration. This time of year, the weather is getting cooler by the day so it makes sense to add winter coats. I love buying and receiving practical gifts that I can make use of and are lasting. With loads of Black Friday deals being shared daily, I am sure there is one just right for your female love.

Sparkles & Glitter

I don’t know about you but Christmas is never complete without some sparkles and glitter. Lace and favour have some great sparkles that can be worn for every occasion. I picked these *Pink Paradox Simmy Blush Satin and Glitter Block Heel Sandals as they are gorgeous. I have a few parties to attend this Christmas and I am super excited to be planning my outfit around these sandals.

Ankle Boots

Continuing on with being practical, ankle boots make the perfect gift especially this time of year. Even throughout winter if they have a strong grip, they make the perfect wardrobe staple. A few colours are popular this time of year but for me, burgundy or deep red are absolute colours. If the female in your life doesn’t like knee-length boots, ankle boots are a great alternative.

Jewellery

Like most women, I am a sucker for good jewellery, though good doesn’t necessarily mean expensive. I have a few gorgeous pieces that I swear by and I bought them from H&M and cost a few pennies. But if the female in your life has an eye for jewellery, I would get it from somewhere like Harvey Nichols. Mostly because they are a trusted brand and sell some amazing pieces most which I couldn’t afford.

Designer Handbag

Every woman is different, whilst some prefer to have expensive jewellery, I prefer a designer handbag. To this day, apart from my car, my MK bag is the most expensive thing I own. Unlike others, I don’t need a collection of them, just one designer bag is enough. If the female in your life loves designer handbags, House of Frasiers is always a house favourite (pun intended).

Personalised

Like most women, I am a sucker for personalised gifts and love slogan t-shirts. Though a personalised blazer is cute and thoughtful, somehow I prefer slogan t-shirt. Other fashion items that look cute personalised are bathrooms and nightwear. Regardless of which your female prefers, make sure the personalisation is something thoughtful.

Sexy Lingerie

When it comes to purchasing lingerie for the female in your life, sexy goes a long way. If you’re unsure of what they like, I would suggest you buy a gift card from their favourite lingerie shop. But if you know what they like but want to surprise them, then *Blue Bella lingerieĀ never disappoints. For Christmas, I suggest purchasing black lingerie than a red one, black is sexier.

Just like any other occasion, make sure the gift you buy is something meaningful to the recipient. We hope our Fashion Christmas Gift Guide for Women has given you some ideas. At the end of the day, you know the females in your life much better than us. Happy Holidays.

I definitely need a new coat – However I don’t think I’d like any one to actually get me one without me trying it on. I prefer experiences as gifts, its a tradition between my mum and I know and I love. Theatre this year.
