Fashion favourites December 2018 is a monthly roundup of favourite items I loved throughout December. In this article, I hope to share all the items that caught my eye and any recent purchases. We are all unique individuals and our shopping should reflect that not a copy of others. I love the saying, Fashion Fits All and as individuals its important to find our own style.
December 2018 I am sure was busy for everyone as it was for me with many errands to run. Personally, it was hectic and included searching for outfits to wear to church on Christmas day and New Year’s Eve. With the tree coming down, now is the perfect time to share the Fashion Favourites December 2018. This roundup will cover all the items I absolutely loved in December as well as any fashion posts I shared #ontheblog.

Before I get stuck in sharing what I loved in December 2018, I thought I mentioned the changes to the frequency of these posts. Starting 2019, the Fashion Favourites monthly roundup is changing to quarterly roundups covering similar topics as before. Though the change might seem abrupt, it has taken months of thinking and this is the best way forward.
FASHION FAVOURITES DECEMBER 2018: WHAT I HAVE LOVED
December is not only a festive month but holds the keys to the last days of autumn for the year. Whilst I might want to think I am ready for winter, in all honesty I feel like I could do more. I have been looking to buy warmer coats and these *Frocella women’s coats look absolutely gorgoeus.
I am someone who loathes being colder and often will be found gravitating towards warmth. Though I didn’t do much shopping I loved a fair amount of pieces, a few of which were Frocella Coats. I just love the high quality look these dutch designed coats give off and are a great investment. I would definitely recommend you check out OD’s Designer Clothing for more options. What I love is they don’t only cater to women, but children and men too.
Outside of winter coats I loved a few black dresses from various brands and wore them to church. I always believed that every woman should have a little black dress somewhere in her wardrobe. It is such a staple piece of clothing and can be worn to many a special occasion include church if worn right.
FASHION FAVOURITES DECEMBER 2018: BEGINNING OF WINTER
As soon as we entered December the weather was much cooler and felt more wintery than autumn. But to my surprise, when I visited Faro, Portugal, it was such perfect beach weather that I experienced. I felt overdressed and had the wrong wardrobe for the mini solo adventure to Algarve.
When I returned home from the trip, I decided to transition from Autumn to Winter wardrobe. I had so much fun being able to try out items that I would be putting away from months. This was a perfect time to declutter the closet to make room for essentials.
Though not everyone changes their wardrobe over to match the season, it is the perfect time to declutter. I always create 3 piles of items; give, throw, repurpose and always take note of what has been thrown away. Writing items to be replaced down allows me to be more focused when shopping.
Looking at my wardrobe I am happy I purged all the unnecessary items and have it winter suitable. Apart from winter coats and dresses for the festive period, I didn’t like much in December 2018. What were your go to items throughout December fashion wise?

Lots of thick jumpers and a thick pair of leggings normally do me well. I need to get into wearing jeans I think they’d probably be warmer.
