I love Fashion quotes and just love how expressive they are because Fashion is very expressive and not limiting. There are so many styles on the runway that you think, nope never not for me. It might not be but never say never because whilst it’s not your cup of tea you can transform it.
Sharing Fashion outfit ideas is my way of expressing what I love about fashion. I can be whatever I wanna be and no one can tell me I can. Sharing the May 2017 Fashion Favourites has really made me happy just like other Fashion Favourites do.
May 2017 Fashion Favourites
I started the month by sharing the dress I wore to my friends wedding at the end of April. This dress I have had for a while, my mother helped me pick it but rarely wear it. Though I didn’t share any posts in this, I wore this dress for the reception part of the wedding. It’s another dress I had been itching to wear since House of Fraser sent it to me last year. The intention was always to wear it to a wedding and though didn’t manage it in 2016, I did in 2017.
The weather in the UK had been really rubbish for Spring, I created Sunshine of a cloudy day. I achieved that by wearing bright colours like the mustard dress I shared on the blog. Many of us tend to conform to darker colours when the weather is ugly but I decided not to match the weather. Knowing bright colours are not for everyone I added a denim jacket to tonne down the colour and added some blue stone accessories.
The sun did finally come out and we have been enjoying an amazing spring which we hoped to have had a little longer. To celebrate many things happening in May I headed to London with my sister and shared a couple of outfit posts. Sunshine ☀️ Food and Fun was the heading for the weekend because we truly had all thing in abundance. But not forgetting that I went with my sister and we made it into a Sister’s lunch date and bonding over food.
To end the month, my parents and I headed to a BBQ with fellow Zambia’s and friends. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed some sunshine ☀️ and BBQ which was amazing.

May 2017 has truly be an incredible month for me and you will hear me same it a lot this week because it truly has been. I have been so overly blessed, I am excited for June and more so for July. Whilst I will be celebrating a huge milestone { turning 30} I will also be celebrating 4 years of blogging. I honestly thought 2016 was my year because of what I achieved but I hadn’t seen anything yet said 2017.

I must say I do wear darker colours when the weather is bad. In my defence I do tend to wear them most of the year though. I saw the dress you mentioned in the other post it is lovely.
