Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Gift Guide: Fashionable He {him}

A Fashionable He is an attractive him!! This is my personal opinion. Now the definition of Fashionable He differs for all, I love a man in a suit but also a man smartly dressed. I don’t like the scraffy but sexy look at all, I can admire it but that’s all. MoH knows I can jump him in a heart beat when he has his suit on. There is just something about a Fashionable He in a suit for me that I can’t get enough of.

Because of my idea of a Fashionable He, this gift Guide might be slightly biased. It will mostly contain items that I know looks good of MoH but can also work for others. MoH is also one of those hard to buy for kind of people but that never stops me. I am sure one day I will pick something that will knock the wind out of him. But before then, I settle for these

Fashionable He

Fashionable He Gift ideas

Suit, whether a two piece or three it doesn’t matter for me. I feel when a man fits a suit like a glove it’s like a woman in heels. I compare that feeling I get in my best heels. For some maybe you can equate it to when you have your makeup on point. I am one of those girlfriends who whistles at their man when he walks by. I make no apology for that because I am proud.

Jord Wood Watch, I saw them a couple of years back and thought they were the best things after PBJ. These watches are sexy, perfect with many outfits and look awesome. I love how they definitely complete an outfit whether for a man or woman.

Toiletries bag, I always buy toiletries bag for some male person in my life. I love receiving toiletries bags big time, they are just the best and easiest presents ever.

Electric Shaver, every time I ask my dad what he wants for Christmas it’s always the same thing. He loves his electric shavers and every year I like to upgrade him or buy spare parts. If you want to buy him a new electric shaver visit Gear Hungry to read some great reviews

Thermal Socks, the winter weather has definitely arrived so makes sense to include thermals. MoH used to hate wearing long johns but now appreciates them more than ever. For someone who hardly felt the cold, it was a huge shock to the system when he started to feel it. Now long johns are always on his list of things to buy during winter.

Diaries and Notebooks, it’s that time of the year again. We reflect on the year so far, adjust plans for remainder of year and plan for next year. Having a diary and notebooks handy can help with that. I have loads of notebooks that I use for work and blogging and only one diary for work.

And there you have it, some gift ideas for the Fashionable He in your life. As mentioned above, I am partial to a man in a suit.

*Note – his character and behaviour should always be top notch and being fashionable doesn’t diminish or even qualify him as a man*

    Nothing as sexy as a sharp dressed man. Now I’m dreaming about Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey with this list.
