Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Oasis Faux Leather Jacket

Faux leather jacket (s) are my staple wardrobe pieces that I wear all year round and still look good each season. They are easy to style, are versatile and look good on everyone regardless of your shape and size. Faux leather jacket can add that extra factor to an outfit plus they can keep you warm whilst looking good.

On my recent trip to Rome, Italy I found out at my friend’s house that I had not taken a jacket with me for my getaway. The weather hasn’t actually been good so I knew I needed something ASAP and knew I would need to do some shopping. I told myself not to worry since Stansted Airport has a lovely list of fashion shops in the duty-free area. At first I thought I check out Next and though they had lovely jackets they were too bright and wouldn’t match anything I packed.

Leaving Next store disappointed I decided to check out Oasis who had a lovely 10% Black Friday sale discount. The moment I saw the jacket I knew I had to have it, the design and minor detail appraised to me. It is very similar to my New Look faux leather jacket but maybe a little bit better. I have had my New Look Jacket for the longest time and I am not ditching it. What I most love about this jacket is the design of it and just how chic it looks on me. It fits like a glove, can go with any outfit and just looks absolutely amazing.

The detail on the shoulders and top of the arm makes it look edgy and chic effortlessly. It’s been fun styling it I cannot get enough of it. I have loved pairing it with my favourite denim jeans and a nice white long sleeved shirt in this weather. The oasis faux leather jacket is a statement piece that should be in every woman’s closet.

Now that I have lost some weight , I think one of those jackets will look really good on me. Faux leather is hot specially during the fall time, I love it.

I need a new leather jacket and I love this style. I really like that the different textures on it and the zipper to the side. This would look great with jeans and boots.

Edgy and chic are two elements I look for in my choice of clothing. I like your plan to pair the jacket with jeans and a white shirt. That combination is a classic.

This looks similar to a jacket that my oldest daughter owns. Hers is a funky maroon color, but all the details are the same. She wears that thing everywhere in the winter.
