{Fashion Monday} February Fashion Favourites 

February Fashion Favourites, I can not believe I am sharing this post already. January started with a bang and whizzed by like tomorrow don’t matter whereas February was more of a leisurely pace kind of month. don’t get me wrong, there was so much to do at work and somehow I can’t seem to be catching up on my blogging obligations so it was a little bit trying month for me. Because February is such a short month I found myself looking for time to relax and not just be on the go constantly. I opened the month with a weekend getaway to Brno, Vienna and Bratislava then made use of the 2nd and 3rd weekend to rest up but apparently didn’t rest up enough. I then ended the month with a weekend getaway to Amsterdam then Brussels and came back home. I can not wait to see what March has in store for me.

Without further adieu here is the round-up of the Fashion Posts I shared in January.

Two blacks & some colour – What I love about this outfit is the luck of effort I have had to put it creating it. It’s been cold lately and when its cold most of us gravitate towards darker colours for me that is wearing all black outfits but lately I subconsciously made a decision to add some colour and that’s where the yellow and the beige blazers come in and I think this outfit is smashing.

Wishlist Granted – When I was contacted to work with House of Fraser I was ecstatic, I just couldn’t believe my good fortune. I was asked to pick any dress(s) I liked so long as it added up to £30, it doesn’t sound like much but when there is an awesome sale going on you could do a lot of damage. I picked up three dresses that were practically screaming at me to get them and last week been wearing them to the office and I just can’t seem to get enough of them I even manage to take one on my weekend getaway to Amsterdam and Brussels.

The Day after – Since Valentine’s Day fell on a Sunday, for my Fashion Monday post I wanted to still incorporate a little bit of Valentine’s colour in my outfit for work. I did not want to go full-blown red but red with some other colours sounded like a perfect idea, so I put this outfit together which I think can be worn to work and also to after work drinks.

The weekend getaway – As I mentioned already, to open February I treated myself to a weekend getaway where I explored 3 countries capitals in 3 days, it was an adventure of a life time. With this in mind I put together my usual weekend getaway outfit to showcase to you all.

I may not be much of a Fashionista but I do enjoy putting outfits together whether just creating them visually or actually creating and trying them out myself. As I mentioned in my recent Fashion Monday post, I wish that every outfit or clothes that I like on instagram or re-pin on pinterest would somehow magically appear in my closet the next day. That would be something indeed wouldn’t it!!

    oh man, I WISH everything I liked on Pinterest would show up. I’d pin larger houses first to be able to hold all the clothes and makeup I’d like.

    Loving the weekend getaway outfit. I’ve looked and looked for some ripped jeans and just can’t find any that fir me. Joys of having very skinny legs. They just look ridiculous on me

    I love that black bottom and black vest top with a coloured jacket look and its something I use to wear a lot before becoming a parent and seemingly forgetting how to dress. Well done you on working with House of Fraser 🙂 x

    Oooh I love the idea of having my pinterest pins appear in my wardrobe. The problem is a lot of mine are a bit too idealistic and I’d need to lose about a stone to look good in them. If both of those things could happen in a magical world – that’d be great 😉
