Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Financial Report ~ Q3 2016

Q3 2016 Financial Report details my earnings throughout the quarter on the blog. I am a part-time blogger but I have been fortunate enough to found a way to earn some money. In my monthly sponsor posts, I share information relating to Brands and PRs that I worked with. Unlike my previous Financial Reports, I will not be listing monthly earnings instead I will list the overall amount earned.

All the Financial Reports shared are to show fellow part-time bloggers that you can still earn from your blog. I am not saying it will be easy to earn money from your blog but that, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. In the 3 years that I have been blogging, I have read about the many ways you can make money through blogging. Some of the tips and advise offered are great, they work and some don’t. Whilst reading such posts do not be focused on the method working, instead adapt it for your blog.

Q3 2016 Financial Earnings

Q3 2016 Financial Report covers the months of July, August and September. Any earnings for October are not included, they form part of the fourth quarter earnings. The difference between this report and the last two reports (HERE & HERE) is the breakdown. This month I decided not to break the earnings down by month but to share just the earnings.

The Q3 2016 started off pretty well, I had a number of clients who wanted to collaborate. I am always honour, humbled and thankful there are companies who wish to work with me. I am not a ‘big deal blogger’ in any sense, my following is not ridiculously huge like others. But there is a difference between me and the some bloggers, I still have my individuality and voice.

With that being said, let me share how much I made in Q3 2016. This amount is calculated after the paypal charges are paid but before tax.

Q3 2016 total earnings: £703.83

I think I did pretty ok, I have not been able to replicate the 1k earning from quarter 1 2016 but that’s ok.

Do you ever share you blog earnings?

Thanks Tracy, I started out small as well and it’s been growing steadily sometimes better than other months

It’s so awesome that you’re sharing your earnings. When I was a new blogger I had no idea what I might be able to earn and I don’t want to ever ASK anyone what they earn as it’s rude! So it’s brilliant that you’re willing to share this, thanks 🙂 x

I found myself in that very situation when I started blogging but last year I decided I would share on the blog. This is not my main salary this is my side funds if I can say it that way

Wow, nice report! I hope to get like this soon! I don’t share my blog earnings, but perhaps I will someday. I know they are helpful for others.

I think it’s so generous of you to share this information. The more we can all help each other, the better for all.

So brave of you to share your earnings! People usually don’t do that. If you don’t mind me asking, is this total from affiliate linking & ads or sponsorships?

By the way, its cool if its too personal to answer 🙂

Not a problem hun, for me earnings are 90% from sponsorship and ads. I don’t do affiliate as I don’t seem to earn anything from that
