With Christmas exactly a month away, there is no better time to start shopping for bits and bobs for your home than now. We’ve compiled a homeware Christmas gift guide for 2019 and are excited to share some of the essential items we’ve picked up over the last couple of weeks. It’s been 9 months since I moved into my house and I am still trying to figure out what theme I prefer. This Homeware Christmas gift guide for 2019 contains items that I have recently added to my home.
Over the last 7 years, I have moved more times than I care to count and all the moving around has been around apartments. At the beginning of the year, I finally moved into a house and I am super excited to finally have enough space to decorate for Christmas. When I was compiling the Homeware Christmas gift guide, I had to look around my own home and things I wanted to add that I can use beyond Christmas. I am a stronger believer in purchasing gifts that are not only useful but practical too.

Disclosure: This Christmas Gift Guide is in collaboration with Claris World, the UK’s leading online stationery and home storage supplier. All opinions shared in this post about there products are my own.
Homeware Christmas Gift Guide
Around this time of year, I always make of point of changing up my home’s theme and decor to match the season. At the moment grey and yellow with a touch of rose gold is the running which I am absolutely loving but I know this is not Christmas like. As much as I love red and the festive feel it brings this time of year, I am just not feeling it. This is why this year’s Christmas gifts for homeowners will be slightly different the idea is to include items that can be used beyond Christmas.
Candles + Candle Holders
When it comes to practical home gifts for any occasion candles are the most versatile and appropriate gift. I don’t know about you but my home has candles lit every single season, during the summer I light candles for special occasions or when I want to treat myself. At the moment, I am trying out the Sinnling range from IKEA and I am absolutely in love, its smells of autumn and Christmas. I love that it burns slowly, the scent has completed covered my home and I am happy about that.
Wreath
When it comes to door wreaths, I am one of those people of always forgets to take their seasonal wreath off. Hence why I like buying wreaths that ain’t seasonal nor themed, that way it can still look cute in the midst of summer. There are several that I am loving this time but I must say the preserved frosted wreath is giving me life this year and would make a nice addition.

Storage Boxes*
Another very practical home gift is storage boxes, I declutter my home every 6 weeks and every single time and lament about storage. There are times when I know what I want to give away but I have no time to take it to the charity. I end up putting good items in black bags and I almost always end up forgetting about them for a long time but with storage boxes like these from Claris World, I have a new place to store out of place or seasonal items.
Christmas Bulbs
It would be wrong of me not to include Christmas bulbs in my homeware Christmas gift guide because whilst these are seasonal, you can still decorate them around the house after Christmas. Or better yet, you can keep them nicely stored in the loft until next Christmas when you can give them good dusk off and display.
Christmas Mugs
Another item that is practical and would be wrong to not include is a Christmas mug, there is just something about sipping my tea in that Christmas mug that brings good tidings. I have so many themed mugs that whenever the Christmas ones come out, I wanna buy them all, they are decorative but also great for that nice cuppa.
