Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{November} Instagram weekly 1

Instagram weekly 1, a roundup post of the three most liked and commented on post in the ending week. Last week I shared what’s on my instagram and it was really nice to see what exactly people were loving. Something I noticed was that time of posting of pictures really mattered in terms of engagement. Unfortunately that most favourable times were around mid-night and half the time I wouldn’t remember to save my life.

November instagram weekly 1, denotes the start of the instagram weekly posts for this month. Though history dictates that this series might fall to the wayside, I will try to keep it going. The decision to travel more and share my travels with you was is one that I am most proud of. There are so many travel support groups now especially for solo travelers and it has been liberating. I have come to learn in my travels of how strong and capable I am. You have to take the bull by the horn and own it, don’t wait for someone to do it for you.

November Instagram Weekly 1

Instagram weekly 1, is looking at postings from the last 7 days which followers have liked most and commented on most. I love sharing pictures on Instagram and to start off I had no desire to observe the engagement of the postings. Blog engagements is also being linked with Instagram engagements, it makes sense to be checking whenever I can. Without further adieu, here is the November Instagram weekly 1;

November Instagram weekly 1 ~ Most Liked

To start us off with the most liked was another picture I took at Pretoria Zoo when I was visiting South Africa

The second most liked is a picture of small artifacts found in Bled Castle in Slovenia

Third most liked picture is that of a small fountain I found whilst exploring Primostek, Slovenia

November Instagram weekly 1 ~ Most Commented on

Though I can’t take why, this picture was most commented on. It could be maybe because of the time when I posted it or people just liked it in general.

The view from Spilberk Castle has made it into most commented on again. I did love this view big time and still do.

The final most commented on was the Irish Whiskey Museum posting. I visited Dublin in July and managed to tour the Irish Whiskey Museum.

And there you have it, my three most liked and three more commented on pictures on instagram. I am hoping to continue sharing these types of posts so hopefully I will do it again next week.

Of whats on my instagram, which is your favourite?
