Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Saturday Fab Finds: Philex Purfect Soluxions

Saturday fab finds is a new series on A July Dreamer where I will be sharing my latest finds. The series will feature a variety of products that have been sent to review or purchased myself. I have been wanting to start this series for a while now but never had the time nor motivation.

This week’s fab find comes in form of technology from a company called Philex established in UK but based in Hong Kong. A leading manufacturer and distributor of electronics to retail and wholesale since 1982. They specialise in Health & Beauty, Home & Security, Media & Gaming, DIY & Outdoors and Electronics & Accessories. Recently they have branched out into a new direction, taking some products directly to the consumer via Amazon. This new service is called the FAA project (Fast as Amazon), as an Amazon prime member I am excited. With this new venture, it is fitting that Philex has established an online presence called Purfect Soluxions.

Saturday Fab Finds: Philex Purfect Solutions

Prior to the company reaching out for this collaboration I wasn’t very familiar with their products. I have seen the company branch in Bedford but knew nothing further than that but once I researched, I was happy to collaborate. As a blogger and technology fanatic I do enjoy a good gadget to place with that makes my life easier. The products I chose for this collaboration are: a charging base, an action camera and a Dashcam.

As a new driver {under a year}, it is important for me to be extra cautious on the road. Some drivers behave as if they don’t know the highway code or maybe they do not who knows. Because of that, I had been thinking of getting a dash cam for my car and happy this collaboration came along. The Lexi 1080p Dashcam comes with a 2.4″ display LCD screen and 1080p video resolution in AVI format. I will not lie the display camera is small for my liking but it does capture everything important incase of accidents.

Last month I upgrade my phone from iPhone to Samsung and I am glad I made the right choice. As much as I love apple products, I wanted something different and Samsung S9+ was the answer. Luckily for me this change matched perfectly with the I-Star portable Qi charging base. The best part is that it is compatible with my new phone, charges on contact, is stable and secure. The instructions are easy to follow; connect the USB cable to USB adapter and the gadget is ready.

As an avid traveler I always need good camera that I can use on the go during my adventures. Normally I use my mobiles but it is not often I pack the waterproof case therefore an action camera is needed. It is waterproof, shoots wide angles, has built-in wifi and is the perfect size for those on the go.

Where can you purchase these products

As mentioned already, the FAA {Fast as Amazon} project allows customers to purchase the items from Amazon. Which as an amazon prime customer it is a win-win situation but you don’t have to be a prime member to purchase these items. I have added a product widget on the side bar which if you purchase through I make a few pennies.

I love that dashcam, we often rent cars when we travel abroad which I think that could be very useful for too.

I agree it would be a good idea to have a portable dashcam

I’ve not heard of the company before they definitely sound interesting and handy for prime users to buy from them. I like the sound of the dash cam they can be handy, my mother in law has one and has found it so useful.

We are seriously thinking about getting a dashcam. So many people have told us they’ve saved a fortune on insurance payouts because they had evidence of other people damaging their vehicles!
