Five Things week 8, this week has been one hectic week. So much has happened and I will share more in the relevant sections where I can.
So next weekend is Christmas!!! Yes I said next weekend, practically 7/8 sleeps left before the big day. Apart from going to church with my parents I intend to use this time to catch up on sleep and blogging.
Five Things I did
- Sat my postgraduate epi (introduction to pharmacoepidemiology) exams on yesterday, fingers crossed.
- On Sunday whilst in Nice I booked an all day tour to visit Fragonard Perfume factory, Eze and Monaco. Whilst in Monaco I spent half my day in Monte Carlo {wearing heels} sightseeing on foot and yes my feet still hurt.
- Yesterday (Friday), I travel to Cambridge to visit my parents but also for doing my hair. As mentioned last week, we have a Zambian Christmas party today
- Managed to book some time off for January, my Sister and I are heading to a concert.
- Managed to balance between my crazy work schedule and study for my exam yesterday {with 1/2 the stress}
Five Great Things to Happen
- No more exams or assignments for the rest of the year until Mid January 2017.
- At work I got recognised for hard work via reach points, I have now £100’s worth of points. We get an assortment of gift cards to choose from and not sure which to pick.
- Not to brag but I got so many wonderful collaborative offers this week all £100+ each, I am chuffed. I do get them occasionally but not as much as I did this week and not had many either.
- Thanks to a great friend after my flight got delayed and arrived late I had a place to crash. I arrived in Oxford after midnight, tired with luggage and not a happy bunny.
- My sister booked us concert tickets for January 2017, I am so excited for my first ever concert.
Five Things that sucked
- Mother Nature called and I answered, it turned out that was just a warning shot. The real deal I am starting to feel now and I am not best pleased.
- Stressful few days trying to revise, blog and work full-time. I am beyond knackered
- Ruined a good pair of leggings but can’t let go on them until I had an embarrassing moment on the train yesterday 🙄
- I am yet to shop for my sister, sister-in-law and my brother’s present
- Looking at the exam paper and thinking you’re on the wrong course, sad times.
Five Things for next week
- Finish Christmas shopping
- Wait to see if I passed all day
- Get all work contracts and other important bits done before Friday
- Travel home to my parents in Cambridge before the holiday rush
- A laid back Christmas 🎄
And that’s all there is to Five Things week 8, which I still can’t believe I have been doing this for 8 weeks.
