Weddings are held every month of the year but of course, for some odd reason, June seems to be the most popular month for weddings. This I guess is why the most popular wedding dress lists for the year come out just before June, so the bride will be able to ensure that her choice is in the hottest wedding dress.
Of course some brides may want a completely unique wedding dress that is unlike the style that everyone else is wearing, but they still want it to be beautiful and every woman at the wedding be envious of her dress.
You can choose from a variety of different styles with the most popular for 2016 coming in many different styles such as strapless, slim fitting, lace on the sides and between the breasts, tight around the hips and then feathers out to the floor and ruffles are in this year as well as lace that can be seen through on certain areas of the body.
Of course white is still in with wedding dresses for 2016, but that does not mean that you have to choose a white gown or even a long dress that touches the floor. This is your day and you should choose a wedding gown that fits your own personality and style.
The main idea when it comes to choosing your gown is that you choose one that fits your figure and shows off your best parts such as your figure, your breasts, unless you are looking for a more traditional look that covers up most of your body.
The top designers of wedding dresses for 2016 include Vera Wang, Galina, Oleg Cassini, and Jenny Packham with names such as Strapless Tulle Wedding Dress, V-neck hand beaded sheath wedding dress, flower lace V-neck wedding dress with empire waist style, among several others.
The most popular colors for 2016 besides white include ivory, soft white, champagne, ivory, whisper pink, gold/ivory, charcoal, blush, oyster, sterling, black, blush, dark antique mauve, silver, tea stain, and of course various colors blended together such as blush/ivory, soft white/champagne, among others.
The strap sleeves are also very important with strapless, tank, cap sleeves, halter, long sleeves, off the shoulder, ¾ sleeves, short sleeves, spaghetti strap, one shoulder, and jacket. You can even choose from various waist styles and necklines from no waist to Basque waistlines and with the neckline you can choose from straight to sweetheart to illusion and a more.
Just remember this is your wedding and you want your wedding dress to be the perfect one that will compliment your figure and one that makes you feel beautiful. You want all eyes on you and of course, if you choose a unique wedding dress, this is exactly what you will get on your special day.

That dress is absolutely stunning. I’m afraid I went with red when I got married and had my dress handmade. The bride will choose what is right for her x

Absolutely choose what is right for you than always chasing traditional

I love that first dress it’s gorgeous. I got married in gorgeous navy blue dress – I sometimes wonder if I should have gone for something more traditional but we had the prefect day!
Miranda says
I think if you have a perfect day then the colour of your dress doesn’t matter

I love that first wedding dress, so beautiful. Although, I quite like the idea of a champaign colour wedding dress! Not that I’m planning on getting married.. but if I ever did.. I’d like one that fitted me perfectly and showed off my figure rather than traditional. 🙂
Miranda says
So true, I want one fitting me and my shape but now and again a traditional one has its charms

It had never occurred to me that there might be fashion trends for wedding dresses. I guess I always thought that the majority of wedding dresses would be traditional style.
Miranda says
I had always liked the traditional style but over the years as I have seen fashion evolve I changed with it I think
Miss Kitty Kaos says

My wedding dress of a combination of two dresses I adored but were not quite what I wanted. Thankfully the shop owner was also a seamstress and had always wanted to create a dress, so she did mine x
