Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Sponsored Post} Skin secrets’ Derma Roller & Face Serum

Vitamin C Facial Serum with Hyaluronic Acid #skinsecret #face

A photo posted by A July Dreamer (@myrabev) on Nov 11, 2014 at 4:08am PST

IMG_0376.JPG IMG_0497.JPG Over the years our skin go through go many harsh conditions and it’s important as we grow older to care for it more than ever before. Everyone wants to look youthful and to continue for a while longer but this can only happen if we care for our skin through changing lifestyle habits to use natural products as humanly possible. When the opportunity arose to review the Derma roller and face serum by skin secrets I jumped at this incredible opportunity. The last few days here in the UK we’ve had the unpleasant pleasure of being introduced to the cold freezing weather that’s approached our shore lines and I know very well what harsh conditions can do to skin. Most of my coloured sisters will appreciate the struggle that is leaving the house all moisturised, lip-glossed and Vaseline’d till Kingdom come only to walk a few blocks and find your lips, hands and rest of the body dried up like a Sahara desert. Having cracks or skin breaks on any part of the body ain’t cute it’s embarrassing especially if you have to remove certain clothing at work cause it’s too hot, only to find that is an impossibility and people should never be subjected to that. So how can this amazing little Derma roller made of titanium needles (don’t scream hold it in) and the face serum help you during these harsh conditions?

Product Description

  •  Antioxidant properties that will reduce skin damage caused by the sun, pollution & cigarette smoke.
  •  Our Vitamin C helps to stimulate your skins rate of exfoliation for a brighter, smoother complexion.

Thanks #skin #secret I love my new #dermaroller and #face #serum #skinsecret A photo posted by A July Dreamer (@myrabev) on Nov 11, 2014 at 12:16pm PST

The Derma roller 540 needles is an effective tool that I have incorporated into my nightly beauty routine. If you remember when I shared my new and improved night routine I mentioned that I do not yet use Face serums but I am proud to announce that I now do and why didn’t anyone tell me what I was missing out on. The combination of the Derma Roller 540 titanium needles and the vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid has improved my over all look and feel of my skin and I would happily recommend this product to anyone thinking of taking the next step in their face routine. Quick Review. I was scared at first to use the derma roller because of the tiny titanium needles that prick out but once I read the instructions on the box and followed them to the T I was fine. It does not hurt (believe me because I can not stand needles) but its tingly. I love the hyaluronic acid because it is already present in our body’s so adding a bit to help rejuvenate my skin is a bonus. I love the overall packing and the case the derma roller comes in plus love the pump action you get with the serum bottle. The serum is made in an advanced FDA registered facility so this product some comfort to my decision to review these products. I highly recommend these products especially together but any good serum would work fine with this derma roller. You can purchase you own Derma Roller and Face serum for £39.95 using this amazon link.

Have you ever used a derma roller before? What about Vitamin C serums or serums in general? What has been your experience?

I  was sent the Derma Roller and the Face serum for the purpose of giving an honest review and no other forms of compensation were given. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

You should try this one, its gentle on the skin and don’t even need to press when rolling just smooth touches works wonders and the hyaluronic acid is just the best since its already in the body makes it even super
