Staying warm this winter is of paramount importance to us all, the weather has been getting colder by the day. Those who know me know how much I despise being cold and dress like an Eskimo from head to toe. Whenever I am introduced or come across brands offering the best products I am more than happy to collaborate. That is the case with my recent brand collaboration with The Sweater Shop, an Irish Brand. I have previously owned wool sweaters but often they were itchy so I am always skeptical. Today I am happy to report that this sweater doesn’t itch not even one bit. The sweater is made from the finest merino wool which produces the softest sweaters to wear.
Trying to stay warm this winter can be as easy as pie if you prepare in advance. We all know owning a warm coat, boots and scarves definitely helps us stay warm in colder weather. As someone who hates being cold you would think all my clothes are winter gear friendly. But alas I am a summer baby so often I want to dress like it is summer even in England. To ensure I can dress like summer inside but stay warm outside I choose the warmest sweaters and coats. And to be honest, most times I am in doors where it is warm and cozy staying out of the freezing cold.
Staying warm this Winter with The Sweater Shop
The sweater shop has been a family run business since 1986 and it is still run by Dom Byrne the founder. With a large collection of quality Irish Aran knitwear it invites even visitors from further afield. The knitwear is sold at reasonable prices and made from the best wool which is soft and luxurious to touch. As I have mentioned above, often I shy away from knitwear made from wool because I find it itchy. It’s been a week since I started wearing the knitwear from The Sweater Shop and it has not itch me once.

When this opportunity came around, I spent a bit of time perusing the website for something I really wanted. When I saw the Glenross cardigan I knew I had to have it.
Review of the Glenross Waterfall Cardigan A661
The Sweater Shop promises delivery between 2-10 days, I receive my order within 2 days sent via UK mail. It was nicely wrapped but I could tell from the outside exactly where it came from. Excited with glee I opened my parcel and saw my Glenross water cardigan in teal {RP: $119}.
My first impression was just how lovely the knitwear was done and soft to the touch it was. I wasn’t sure if I could wear it without testing on a patch of skin but I braved it and wore it. It was super warm, they comfy and cozy so much that I took it for a spin that very night. Since then it has been my go to cardigan and goes with practically all my outfits.
I am definitely impressed with this wool cardigan and highly recommend it. It is truly warm, comes with instructions on how to maintain it so it can last longer.
