Charles Bowden wrote, Summer is ALWAYS the best of what MIGHT be’, personally that’s fashion. Its beginning to look a lot like summer lately and I am getting my summer fashion wishlist ready. The entire season of Spring has been a fight between winter and harsher winter weather. I am definitely happy to be receiving daily doses of Vitamin D straight from the source.
If you’re a regular reader then you know my love for sharing outfit ideas and fashion tips. It doesn’t mean I am good at it but I love it and love sharing my wish lists and capsules. I am excited to be sharing my summer fashion wishlist in readiness for summer holidays.
Summer Fashion Wishlist
When it comes to Travel and Fashion, I am those spontaneous people who go with the flow. With travel it often pays off because I love to explore the big wide world but fashion not so much. Often I make spontaneous decisions and end up regretting some fashion choices later.
Where summer is concerned I know what items to always have with me especially when I travel. The items listed in my summer fashion wishlist are items that I normally have but need replacements.
Bikini
On a good day, you won’t catch me pouncing in one even when at the beach and its all confidence. I wasn’t made with soft cushion but extra padding in my mid-section which often throws me. Confidence is something I have in buckets but sometimes I fall short in bikinis. The last few years I have been slowly working my confidence levels up and I am excited to get one.
Denim shorts
I often have many types of shorts in my closets but my most favourite ones for summer are denim. I am not sure why but I do love my blue or black denim shorts and love wearing them during summer. They are definitely my summer must have essential items to have in your closet.
Beach Bag
I have written about what I consider to be Beach bag essentials and the list hasn’t changed much. For this article I am focusing on the bag itself, I love the see through but strong bags. Somehow I need to be able to easily locate the items without sending out a search party.
Sandals and Wedges
Lord have mercy, I sometimes think I am bewitched when it comes to sandals and wedges. These are my favourite kind of shoes during summer, I find them easy to work with. Otherwise I find myself trapped into wearing trainers with everything. I have purchased a couple of these from JustFab and love them, can not wait to wear them.
Sharong & Wraps
When I was young I loved seeing people rock their sharongs in movies and now I can’t get enough. Now I walk around with wraps in my bag as you never know when you might need to use it. Unfortunately most of the time for me it turns into a mat to sit on when I am outdoors.
There are so many items that I want to include on my summer fashion wishlist like shades and a fedora. But those I items I include in 90% of my wishlist posts so I will skip them for now.

I definitely need new sandals! I practically live in them all summer long, but unfortunately my dog ate my favorite pair last summer! I also need to go bathing suit shopping, which is probably my least favorite thing ever, lol. I always get some sort of wrap to go with it. Of course, with the weather being so wonky, it will be a miracle if I get to wear any summer stuff!
